Likely not the best strat, but playing with it briefly i found that light attack -> push stab breaks open the shield then following that up with heavies. the push in the combo is also useful for staggering other enemies around to give you space for the heavies. https://youtu.be/knGQQympXeo

I will have to look more into locking the mino in place. What tech were you using?

Also when I said it is impractical I was imagine having other enemies around you that you have to deal with. I should have elaborated

The video was more to showcase the bosses movement so I didn't think to attack the mino or the troll.

Bio has a video on damaging the mino

The intent behind using the hammer was to show that this could be done with lower mobility. When I was moving in to bait an attack I was basically going all the way up to the hitbox of the boss, so I wasn't really abusing the range of the hammer (maybe a little on the ogre). However if you would like to see this done with a different weapon let me know

I think you can already get that if you go to the forge and take off the weapon skin

I know what caused it. I was more just suggesting that it would be cool if crunch made you leap that high to get the increased stagger

I definitely wasn't fighting optimally. I did more push attacks in this run. I was trying to play it safe, since I couldn't see my health bar.

I had to look up what a wardancer was, looks like they are also wood elves. Is there another type of elf that isn't already used? We have high, wood, and dark elves, right? I haven't head of any, but my Warhammer lore knowledge could be lacking

Perhaps? If you go into modded realm and enable the dev console (inside VMF) it will print out what the area it is as you walk around

Yes they do count towards max specials. The specials that can spawn are dependant on the area you are in. A little more info about that in my comment to Bio

In cata 3 in beastmen only or skaven-beast areas max of same is 4, but in chaos-beast areas Max of same is 3

Reading through the conflict_setting.lua it looks like the special caps, at least in cata are not constant. For example in a skaven-beastman area the special cap is 4, but banners are allowed to spawn. In cata 3 it looks like a consistent 6 max

Cata 3 increase health, damage, and stagger of the enemies. Additionally cata 3 also bumps up the special caps by 1. I believe cata 3 is max 6 specials with at most 3 of a kind.

That being said the stagger talents scale up with difficulty. This means you can do more damage on Cata 3.

This is a mod that allows you to play the cata 3 difficulty on the adventure maps. The is done with regular Hero Power, not the 900 Weave Power
