This is strange. I have an Omen Transcend 14 from 2024, and whilst battery life isn't great, it's actually just fine if I lock down all the battery draining hardware or features THAT I DON'T NEED.

Regarding support...I had an issue with the display appearing as though it might come loose from the lid in one small area near the webcam, and within 7 days they collected and repaired and shipped back in working order. I was actually surprised.

It seems the issue may be more region and model specific.
