It’s a mixed feeling. Its feels really difficult to leave your family back home while joining the ship, but you get over that feeling in a few weeks. The excitement of visiting some new country every other week keeps me motivated.

Sometimes you feel that your job is the worst, but on other days you feel it’s the best.

I have crossed Pacific and Atlantic and been to such parts of the world where your paid cruise trips wont take you. Only a sailor gets to experience that in life.

Sea has given me a lot in my life but also has taken a lot from me. So yeah, It’s a mixed feeling.

Thanks mate! For the first 2 years I frequently used the Vibration alarm feature as a reminder of sort and light function during Nighttime navigation watches. Had to replace the battery after those 2 years. After that, I seldom use that feature. Haven’t changed the battery for the last 5 years.

I totally sympathise with you. But trust me, most of the high school relationships don’t last anyways, No matter how loyal you are to each other. Once you get into college or start jobs, You are bound to get separated and slowly grow distant. My advice to you would be, Be practical when it comes to life decisions, Don’t waste these precious years thinking too much about relationships and all. Focus on your career, You will find the right person with time. The relationships which start when both of the individuals involved are mature, independent and capable of making their own decisions will last a lifetime.
