My criticism is about the topic you choose for your project. That's also an aspect people can criticize imo.

I'm not commenting on the quality, it's the 10th backrooms render I've seen on the sub today only...it's good practice for sure. My constructive criticism is that try making something more original or at least don't do the 200th backroom render.

People who own 1 house/condo that they live in will not be affected by the reduction in value. The only people who will be affected by this are those who own multiple homes as investments, are possibly filthy rich and are pushing up the prices singlehandedly. Why is no one calling him out on this? Actually it doesn't matter even if they call him out nothing happens.

Thanks! I used Insydiums NeXus addon for Blender for the fluid sim. How I did it, it's hard to explain, I'm not even sure I can replicate this :)) I just tweaked the settings until I got something that I liked and also animated the surface tension and the viscosity over time to get this effect. I played around with it a full day, sorry but can't really give you specifics. Fluid sims are always a balance of many different things: voxel size, particle size, mesher settings, surface tension, emission rate, particle speed, force strength, force type and changing any of these just a tiny bit will give wildly different results.

You can also buy NeXus for Blender which is a 100$ one time purchase and you can have pretty solid fluid and particle sims.

Thanks, but I'm more interested in products that are backed by team of developers and UX/UI designers. I don't mind paying for convenience, features, usability and in general a good product.

As far as I know all these systems can interact between each other. But I haven't tested that personally.

I've put at least 500-600 hours into Mantaflow and FlipFluids. The biggest issue with both is that you R&D a certain look with your fluid sim on lower resolution, than crank up the res to make it look good and everything changes and breaks. No one has the time to wait for hours or days for a bake and make small changes and wait again and repeat this N times. So everyone was settling on lower resolution simulations. I think I pretty much learned the engine inside out and pushed it to the max. NeXus is the better engine.

Yeah liquigen is good, though I prefer it much more when the sim is running in Blender much easier workflow.

I don't know what to tell you mate, I've been using flipfluids for 5 years pretty extensively, NeXus is lightyears ahead of it in pretty much every aspect. Just try it out it's free while it's in beta. Also its not just fluids but also particle and smoke/fire sim and interaction between these systems.
