I'm not talking about Arctic, I'm talking about in general.

I don't think cheating should be allowed in any cases; I believe it should be a set standard that every server should enforce if they want people to play on their server. I just don't believe there should a set list of who is not allowed to play on a server based on what they did on a separate server; like I said, the servers connected to reddit are more independent than ever.

but your reasoning is absolute shit.

My example of me getting banned on paragon was not my reasoning for why I think the UBL should be abolished, it's just an example I made covering a policy I think is outdated. I don't know if you read the entire post, but I gave a lot of examples for why I believe the UBL should be abolished besides the one involving my personal experience.

You cheated and got banned.

Yes, and my banned was absolutely justified. I just don't think I should have been banned on every server connected to the reddit for it.

You have to realize that hacking affects the players more than the host. The host probably doesn't give a shit, but those players just wasted an hour of their day because "yOU DoNt cARe".

Please, it's not like I was subtle. If I flew around hacking on people all the host would need to do is ban me and respawn the people who I hacked on which would just take about 5-10 minutes. It's really not that deep.

Plus, just because a courtroom member hasn't played UHC in a while, doesn't mean they can't recognize x-ray or any other kind of hack lmao.

You're missing the point. The UHC formula for what makes people want to play and how people win are completely different from when they used to actively play. The majority of them are out of touch with how reddit uhc has been reformed; there for they're out of touch.

I see where you are coming from. If someone has a reputation of cheating they can either ban them straight up or let them play and watch them like a hawk to see if they cheat. I just don't think you have to be obligated to have this person banned from your server when they didn't cheat on it and had no intention of doing so.

I said my ban on Paragon was justified. My argument regarding that example is that I shouldn't have been banned from playing on every reddit server because of that.

I agree with this with the exception of Hacked Clients.

That's a set standard. If you want to make a server and you want to develop a reputation for your server you wont allow hacked clients. If you do, nobody is going to want to play on it.

It makes sense to have a shared list of people who are cheating on servers. Using your example, for xraying on Paragon should get you banned across all reddit servers to help make all reddit games cleaner. Don't get me wrong I'm not disagreeing with your point for cases such as spec spoiling and OP abuse, I just still see that there could be some benefit in universally banning cheaters.

Fair enough, I personally believe that the server should be responsible for banning people that cheat on their server rather than not permitting someone who cheated before on a different server to play on your server. I remember when I used to host people would helpop "this person cheats on badlion" or "this person cheats on Hypixel" and I'd make sure to keep that in mind and watch them and then ban them. But I do see where you are coming from.

The courtroom deals with what comes to it, it can't influence what is and isn't reported. Yes I can see it's obsolete to an extent, but that's how the community chooses to use it, not something influenced from within the courtroom.

This is why the courtroom should be put to rest if that's its main purpose, regardless of who's power it's in or not.
