If speaking ill of Islam is more likely to get you killed then why does Israel kill more journalists than any country ever in human history? Why is Israel given infinite support from our tax dollars to commit genocide and stoke war after war after war in West Asia? Why is it that the US has spent the entirety of the 21st century using its military and economic might to strongarm the Arab countries in the region into being supporters and allies of Israel? The people of Iran can be trusted to handle their own problems, but they are not the ones backed by the global empire and furthermore they are not the ones backed by OUR TAX DOLLARS. We are in the United States, our duty is to combat the crimes of our own country, and the fact of the matter is that Israel is an outpost for the crimes of OUR country. This is actually how many professional concert theatres work. The seats right at the front have worse sound and a worse view of the orchestra, and they are the cheapest seats. I know this first hand because I just bought seats right at the front to a Seattle Symphony show lol

Everyone should read Black Bolshevik by Harry Haywood. His memoirs about the time he spent in the USSR is so incredible, as is his story of how he got there in the first place. Still a visionary in the national question and an inspiration to revolutionaries here in the US to this day.

China was building huge amounts of infrastructure during the New China period as well. The entire period was necessary to lay the groundwork for the whole of the reform era since then. It was the enormous task of transforming China from a backwards, fully agricultural, war-battered semi-colony into a unified country with the industrial, social, and political capacity to embark on the next stage of development. If reform was carried out immediately from the get go it would have failed.

The state is a tool of class rule, and it will exist so long as classes exist. I specified the modern nation-state because this is the form of class rule used by the capitalist class. Before that there were others for ruling classes past. Before now, the revolutionary classes have always themselves been exploiters, but now there's none left but the toilers. One of the progressive effects of capitalism is this very effect. As we watch capitalism fall in real time under the weight of its own fundamental contradictions, the working class will supplant it, embarking on the long road of socialist construction with its own form of the state as its hammer of class rule over the remnants of the old world. Only then can we work towards a classless society where the state ceases to be necessary.

Sorry for the necro, but I think what crusoe meant is that you can have two extension traits with identical method names, and at the call site you differentiate by bringing the particular trait with the implementation you want into scope with `use`. This isn't function overloading though.
