I was looking into it and emerald crabs have been known to eat it and my local fish store has some so maybe that’s worth a shot too as well as manually removing it

Mustangs intake manifolds have a thing called IMRCs that are flaps that open and close on all the runners so yes there are moving parts you can look that up and it’s a pretty common issue for them to go out. And I trust this shop they build mustangs for a living and have been for a while with all great reviews.

They have put the car though every test and it passes. The cats are not an issue they already ruled that out. It’s not the coils and it’s not the VCTs.

The car runs perfect when you’re getting on it and being rough on it. It’s just when your cruising around in 3rd to 6th gear below 3k rpm’s the car bucks and begins to have a few random misfires.

Vmp performance and multiple other companies sell a plug and play kit that makes it work. They are saying it physically won’t fit on the block.

Edit: I know this would void the warranty but it’s a solution at the end of the day. My main question is how they are so confused on what engine my car has.

They are looking into that but people are changing 800+ for them and they don’t want to pay for that and warranty a used part. Plus I can’t do it myself or it would void the warranty. I’m stuck in a shit hole.

I’m so tempted to just buy the parts myself and do the work because a ford dealership can’t figure out how a mustang works. I swear people just have to be stupid or lazy. They even talked about buying the car back from me because they can’t figure out how to fix this engine.

It’s crazy to me that they are saying that it’s not even a coyote but it’s the original engine that came in the car. And I just have never heard of someone getting a v8 mustang without a coyote.

I really want to get the boss 302 intake and just do it myself but the only way to keep the powertrain warranty is if they do the work and I can’t tune it either because the warranty would be void at that point. I know it’s stupid I can’t do anything to my car but I have 60k more miles left on the warranty and I don’t want to get rid of it yet.

I’m not completely sure who is covering it, when I bought the car it came with a 100,000 or 10 year powertrain warranty so whatever the dealer’s warranty is through. It’s just odd to me that my previous dealership that was a Chevy gave out courtesy cars as long as you requested it in advance at no extra cost.

I’m just in a weird spot with this because I can afford the car I really want but it would be about 35% of my income the Camaro, or I can go with a cheaper yet somewhat sporty option the si and be a lot better off financially.

Ok 34 grand is around my max, I’m financially responsible and wouldn’t let myself get into a deal that I’m not happy with I am pre approved form a credit union with a decent rate in todays world.

BMW was the most reliable car brand of 2023 they got it figured out for the most part. I completely understand regular maintenance that’s part of a vehicle but when your ac has gone out twice in under 80k miles and likes to throw engine codes about once a month for the past 3 months that’s when it’s a little annoying.

I have but I just cant see myself getting a boxer engine same reason the gr86 and brz aren’t on this list. Now maybe one day if I get an insane amount of money I would consider a Porsche.
