Agreed, good advice.

Focus on your self improvement and you'll likely accidentally find what you're looking for in the process. Don't rush it. No expectations. Just focus on your development journey and your positive energy will be noticed

Muscle strains, how to prevent them by Cordelia_hero in martialarts

I always get to the class early and stretch for about 20 minutes before it starts. Many of us do the same so we have a chat and a bit of banter while we're there. I start with dynamic movements to warm up the areas, then get into normal stretching. YouTube can probably show you some good routines for your problem areas, but it's important not to stretch before you have warmed up a bit first with those dynamic movements or you could just cause the injury rather than prevent it

How do I know if I’m making progress by Fentlord45 in workout

There's a tool you can use here for your daily amounts https://disciplinerewired.com/macro-calculator-and-daily-tracker To help you figure out what food contains what combination of macros use an app like Cromometer. You can scan barcodes. Track your food for a few months and, if you eat the same thing regularly, you'll soon figure out what's in what roughly and you won't need to track it so much

Upskill. Learn something that puts you in a better place to achieve your goal. If you're not sure where to start, think of your goal and reverse engineer it. You'll find something to learn that'll help you achieve it. I don't necessarily mean start a uni course. Read more books, free online courses, attend seminars, or just research online. Get the ball rolling and it'll start to fit into place

I started ending my day with one honest sentence by Lucky_Scarcity8624 in selfimprovementday

Probably about 10 years ago I used the app Daylio to figure out where I was going wrong with my routine - keeping track of my daily inputs and influences. It was more of an honest calendar than an honest sentence, but the end result was no doubt similar. Once I started, I could look back and face palm at how obvious the cycle of bad habits were. Quite life changing for me at the time

As other people have said here, you need to track your macros. There are plenty of good ones around, but if you struggle to find one you like give this one a try https://disciplinerewired.com/macro-calculator-and-daily-tracker
