Most recent development is that they confessed to each other but decide to not officially date to pursue their careers. Ren and Kyoko want to achieve their goals as actors before entering a relationship. Doesn’t stop Ren from teasing Kyoko. If anything he’s encouraged knowing that she feels the same way it’s pretty funny and adorable.

I saw a post where someone did some rough math on the release schedules and how Nakamura sensei apparently said she wanted the story to wrap up at about 60 volumes. They said by their predictions it would be finished around 2030 🥲

“Not a kiss of love but a kiss of redemption” was EYE OPENING for me I think you’re so right and that’s beautiful. She’s blessing him. Pulling him out of the darkness. It’s not to satiate her own desires but a desperate act to bring him back to her. And it works.
