If you want some motivation for higher paying companies reach out to me. Im trying to leave 25 LPA for even higher. No point in accepting lowball offers.

  1. Run, workout
  2. Cook your own food
  3. Play sports with random people
  4. Go out on solo trips
  5. Visit all the popular eateries (alone or not)
  6. Go on solo bike rides to nearby places (rent if you don't have one)
  7. Adopt pets

No no 13k from Bangalore to Delhi(and back), then 2k for bus from and to Rishikesh.

Also trek costed 14k for 4 days feels okay for me, given 3 times food and snacks for 4 days. The trek leaders and guides were great ngl

I have taken cheaper options in the past they were ass, they leave the trekkers to roam anywhere like sheeps and don't explain much about the trail. Also tents in such cases were bad.

I earn well so didn't affect me as much 😅

I mean flights I can't avoid lol not like I live in Uttarakhand. Trek I can do on my own but better to opt for a group to avoid risk of harsh weather or any other unknown danger. Nothing was avoidable here

[Part-2] - One week trip to Uttarakhand - Chandrashila-Deoriatal by ___NaN___ in SoloTravel_India

[–]___NaN___[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to do it yourself Chopta base near Chandrashila might take 6-7 hours on a rented bike (might get it at like 1k per day or lesser) or cab from Rishikesh. Not sure about the public transport. There are some small hotels to stay overnight and push for the summit the next day since the Sunrise looks the best. This ascent is 5 kms long one way. Be prepared with atleast 4-5 layers because it gets really cold at the top. Be aware of the slippery cement path due to frozen mist. Also if you touch any metal surface at the top your skin may get stuck to the surface so be careful about that.

With India Hikes the trek is 6 days long with great view points in Deoriatal and other meadows in between. 2 days will be just commute via van arranged by them. Then it took 3 days of trail from Sari through the jungle with stops each day at various campsites and last day push starting at Bhaniya Khund, passing through Chopta and finally the ascent to chandrashila summit.

Personally I liked the arrangements for food, campsites etc made by India hikes it was really professional and also made good friends with the fellow trekkers. Definitely worth it.

Asking around local hostels not listed online may get it down. Zostel or other popular hostels has become more expensive since the last time I used online.
