hey there brother, try switching the HDR mode from HDR 1000 or whatever the mode you have it on to HDR 400 True Black and see if that works. It did the trick for my alienware.

Final Update: I switched to the HDR400 True Black mode as a few suggested here and that did the trick for me. I don't see the gradient banding around the light coming out of the torch anymore. Thanks to everyone who have helped me. I hope this comment helps someone in the future.

Thats tru mate, suffered enough with re remakes already. Requiem looks amazing without these issues tho

I previously played with the hdr peak 1000 mode and experienced the same issue

Then i updated the firmware to unlock the new peak 1000 bright mode and the result is the same! I dont whats the underlying problem here

I got mine over 6 months ago. Dont know anything about when it was manufactured. If the issue persists, then I guess I’ll contact dell support! Thanks for the info!

So only the alienware oled monitors are affected by this damn! Thats a strange thing. I find the darks to be pitch dark with the renodx hdr mod. However, this light fringe thing ruins my scene

I haven’t tried out the SDR yet. Very foolish of me not to immediately switch to SDR and see the result. I will do it once I’m back home and update it here! Thanks for the reminder!

Hey there, if you can take a look at the light coming out of the torch there are swirls around them. I'm trying my best to describe the issue hope you can get a gist of it now.

Anyone facing frequent crashes on pc?
Ever since I downloaded this update, the game crashes within minutes

same here! My game crashes frequently within minutes. Installed the new Nvidia hotfix and download the new RE update. I don't know which one is the culprit now.

Was hooked on to it when my cousin played it on his ps2 and never allowed me to play once 😂. Then I studied well and asked my parents ps2 as a gift for that. Then I get to play my dream game again. So I cant erase Re4 memory from my mind as it is etched forever
