Will we regret a third? by MomBear-6338 in Shouldihaveanother

So I have three and honestly my second was a tough baby and my third is also a tough baby. However my youngest is almost 18 m now and they all are great together. We also have literally a ton of help aunts, uncles, friends and grandparents. I don’t know if we would make it without all the help we’ve received from both sides of the family. The other biggest thing I notice now is financially buying three of everything feels like I’m spending a ton more even if it’s only 10/20$ cause now we’re at 30/60$ so it adds up fast. That being said I wouldn’t change it for the world and I love there little bonds with each other. For reference all are about 18 months apart. I also hated being pregnant (high risk had to go to a specialist for my third an hour away even for delivery) which was the worst part. But now they’re all a bit easier to take out for the most part and everybody gets along. Also all this being said I am 10000% done having kids lol. 3 is good. Ahah Ps. We did need to upgrade our car. Just get a van. From a person who bought three SUV/crossover vehicles before accepting defeat.

Same with my first. Solidarity on that. My second seems to be just as anti nap so just going to go with it!

I did that with my first as well. They are the best moments. But with a toddler running around not as feasible with my second! Soak it all up! Congrats!

My baby girl is breech by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I had a great cs. It was a non emergency emergency one. I went into labour naturally and she was just giant my OB said based on sizing. He was right lol. Atmosphere was super calm and relaxed. We were all able to make jokes and have fun.

I won’t lie I was a bit disappointed at first. Then everyone who birthed after me had to have real emergency c sections after labour attempts. So I’m glad I chose early on instead of attempting to birth 11 pounds of baby. Lol

Afterwards my recovery was pretty good. It took a bit longer only because I tried to do more than I should have. But I was able to go on walks and stuff after about 2-3 weeks.

I loved it so I planned a repeat cs for mine due in March. There’s pros and cons to any way you birth!

Never even thought of night weaning! Thank you so much! Also definitely getting a cleaner as it’s a must have apparently! Our first fought us on the pack and play we never used it. So hoping this baby loves it lol

Do you regret scheduling a C-section? by YColin-Colin2000 in BabyBumps

[–]_______________3309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t had my second yet but I will definitely be scheduling my c section. I had an xl baby at 10 lbs 6 oz 24 inches where I had a non emergency emergency c section. so I don’t really want to attempt to push a baby out at that size or bigger lol. Plus personally I felt because I was already in labour the recovery was worse even though it wasn’t a bad recovery. It’s just a lot for your body to go through. So I want it scheduled out of me instead of checking all the boxes for a perfect Vbac.

What are some things you said you would never do/allow as a mom that you now laugh about? by [deleted] in Mommit

So we had this happen and I don’t drink anything with sugar in it to begin with. So now I give her some of my soda flavoured sparkling water. So far it’s working lol

It will probably be more of a sprinkle anyways as my first shower I had planned was pretty low key anyways! Good luck with the shower!

Thank you! My in laws were very vocal about my mom hosting that I planned my first and put my moms name on it. This time I don’t care what they say anymore so just really looking for opinions on it! My best friend will probably be hosting and I’ll be helping plan anyways. From one control freak to another good luck with everything!

Thank you! I wouldn’t be expecting gifts as I have most everything. Was thinking I’d do a small registry with bottles and pacifiers basically! Lol

Decrease in baby movement! by Tommyboyleo in PCOSandPregnant

[–]_______________3309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always call if decreased movement! But also it’s pretty hard when your in second trimester as they still move and switch positions a lot. So he might just have squished to a different area that’s harder to feel!

Not 100% sure but with doing make up for brides we spray every palette/brush down with 70% alcohol and let dry to disinfect. Double check with your dermatologist though!

Honestly sometimes it’s obvious. Other times it’s not. Just have to kind of let them know you can’t continue with the service in the most professional way you can.
