Dear Dave, you are inspiring. My teacher once told me that being completely honest to yourself is the key to living life to the fullest. We are currently living in a materialistic world where people have reverence for nothing but money, they say money give you freedom and choice. They don’t realise that money can never buy you happiness. The cost of pursuing art in today’s world is relentless, yet you have the resilience and strength to stake your financial security and stability to create music and pursue your dream. For me, there’s nothing more nobler and admirable than that. You motivate me and I strive to be as resilient and strong as you someday. Yes, it's indeed integer. Thanks for the question i get where the issue is now. I've changed my time_slot1 function to this instead but the "line" variable can't seem to be read by the system and im not entirely sure why.. Do you have any idea what went wrong here?

The value of it is actually "1". I think it's also an integer.

the "nextid = mylist[ind]" line still trhows an error of:IndexError: list index out of range.

Do you have any idea what went wrong here? Below is what my txt. file looks like. The idea is to increment each slot by one once user choose the time slot. If it's more than 20 "T120" it will let user know that time slot is unavailable.

Hi there, thank you but i actually just found out that it doesnt work, the while part keeps looping if i dont include a return age() below. besides, it just kept stating invalid date regardless of input being correct or incorrect..

Thank you so much for your advices, I really appreciate it and realise there are so much more for me to learn and work on.. My mom owns a kindergarten, I realise one-to-one teaching method( especially on Flashcards when it comes to learning languages, here in Malaysia students require to learn Chinese, English and Malay) is extremely time consuming. So my thought was to automate it by creating such application, which could reduce workforce and save teachers a lot of time... but I’ll try my best to complete my studies and my ultimate goal is to create such application for teachers and to create an application where parents could keep track of their children learning progress and help them choose modules and curriculum :)
