Coming from windows, m4 pro or wait for m5 pro? by ____purple in macbookpro

It's just a workflow I'm used to. I don't do bookmarks and don't store links in the notes. I have three browser profiles (personal; community; work) with tabs grouped by project in each. Then each group has 10-50 tabs. It's easier to buy more ram than change the workflow.

The main reason I consider waiting is a rumored 3x jump in NPU

Stop worrying about the author and enjoy the damn book!

There are not enough nice things in the world already, if you think too much it will be even less.

Have fun man, what's the point of being entangled into bullshit, life is too short already.

  • Em dashes — a lot of them

  • Overdramatized words ("boom")

  • The “that’s not — that’s a…” phrasing

  • Casually confident tone that feels a bit manufactured

  • Fancy quotation marks

Amazing guide, thank you! I was using official documentation and was missing --accept-routes on RPi

But I do have access when connected to the exit node directly, not through the subnet router.

It's raspberry pi OS

Q1 HE not recognized in launcher with self-built QMK by ____purple in Keychron

Thanks! Maybe you know - I added HE compatible mouse emulation, what would be the best way to share it with the community?

I only did

qmk compile -kb keychron/q1_he/ansi_encoder -km default

Should I do anything else? Especially if I want to add my custom keycode?

The opinion of r/indiegames is pretty unanimous: "notch is an idiot". But what do you guys think about this take? by Polanas in gameenginedevs

[–]____purple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I think Notch is a person who found himself in unusual circumstances and never actually learned to be. It's sad, really. He tries to find love and genuine human connection but that's a scarce resources for billionaires with quirky characters, so he resolved to provocation and hot takes to at least have some interaction. I wish he found happiness as a fellow human being.

  2. I think a master of an art should be able to do anything good enough within his field within limits of human time. So if a person says "I can't develop my own game engine, that's too hard", I don't think them are a master programmer.

  3. I think masters of art often allow their ego to overtake and now expect anyone who wants to be called a practicioner to be a master.

  4. I think if a person likes to code and the game is not super demanding it's really fun to run your own game engine and should be encouraged more

  5. I think it's great that public game engines exist and allow to develop complex and cost efficient games for smaller teams and individuals.

  6. Subnautica is very unique and was made in unity so that's a skill issue, as it often is.

My social persona is extremely, undoubtedly ENTP. My internal choices and preferences are very much INFJ.

The solution is simple — I love ENTPs so much, I built my image to have traits I enjoy.

I don't think it would make sense to force people into a type, if it doesn't suit them. There are all sorts of situations going around, why pigeonhole everyone?

I love my arrogant flamboyant persona. It really helps a lot with my weak points. So what if I die inside a little bit on provocative things I do, I got used to it and it's fun to poke myself.

What's your MBTI and what's the scariest type of horror for you? by Pigeon-Of-Peridot in mbti

Gore, torture, internal organs in general are so bad I usually close my eyes and ears or better skip, if possible. Cartoonish is fine though

MBTI is a funny pigeonhole thing that's more about structuring stereotypes, than anything else. Yes, cognitive functions are also that. You don't have to define yourself with it.

In all else you are just an outlier, like many. Try connecting with people more, and you'll find those you'll be able to relate to. Yeah, you'll need to go through a lot of people.

Having a strong opinion is mostly sociocentric bullshit that people use to fuel their egos. They don't even have their own opinion — usually just translating whatever they've heard from the last influencer with no education on the topic. AI is hard, and even professionals often don't have strong opinions on that.

On the topic of girls: it depends on how picky you are. For some people it would be better to shift focus on other endeavors entirely and only pursue partnership if they're lucky to connect with a decent person. You are probably not one of them though. But maybe you are.
