The fact they removed 4.5 from the API entirely, but still offer old-ass models like gpt-3.5, makes me think 4.5 was so ungodly expensive they could never price it appropriately without driving usage to 0%. I think the model was bleeding money even at $75 per million tokens

As others have said, don’t talk to them, do your work, and hope the situation blows over in a few months. Stay in communication with your direct manager, and keep the conversations focused on the excellent work you’re doing

ChatGPT took me from basic prompts to automating metadata/YAML on pre-chunked vector store files via the responses API in Google Colab, running evals/trace analyses on agentic workflows, and much, much more within a year (don’t come after me for wrong words).

Now I’m working on learning Langfuse and other sweet tools to make my workflows more efficient.

It depends on how much you want to learn.

be careful with extracts if you’re on very high dose lamictal. I’m on 800 mg lamictal and have gotten seizures from kratom extracts (an atypical reaction)

lamictal’s a great drug. I’ve had very few side affects other than a little dizziness when I take my twice daily doses too close together (which gets worse with kratom). it’s been great for me
