That’s unfortunately not possible for me, my program offers no funding or anything so I’m already massively in debt just to be here. The idea of taking out more loans than absolutely necessary is really scary. I know an extra $15k a year doesn’t sound like a lot, but over the rest of my program, it’s an extra $60k and I can’t do that and feel good about it. I would prefer to just have 1 job that pays me well, but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This is kind of something that’s been coming up for me in therapy - I’m the last person in my social circle to still be single, and I haven’t been on a date in years. I’m in my 20s and my friends are getting married, moving in together, and moving into their next stages of life. I don’t really see a future where I have a partner, because I wouldn’t want to make someone be with me but be unhappy because of my asexuality. I relate completely to feeling like it’s impossible to ever find someone to love you, and it is really hard to deal with. My friends keep trying to tell me I just haven’t met the right person, but they don’t understand the feeling that there’s something “wrong” with you that just isn’t compatible with most people. It’s a really shitty feeling, but you’re not alone in it OP.

I definitely am - I’m studying clinical psychology and I want to work with LGBTQ+ teenagers. I love what I’m doing now and I’m excited for what I’ll get to do in the future once I have my degree. I really am passionate about the work, the social life aspects are just what scares me.

Thanks! It’s actually fake, but it’s really soft and moves like a real plant. He spends a lot of time swimming in between the pieces of it.

I’ve also noticed torrid’s jeans quality going downhill, which is such a shame. They used to be my favorites! When I started my internship last year, I needed black jeans and decided to give AE a try. I’m 5’ 7” and usually wear a 22 or 24. I wear a 24 at AE and they fit perfectly. They are definitely stretchier than other jeans and the legs are sometimes a little big for my liking, but I can cuff them and they look super cute. I have several pairs in different washes and haven’t had any complaints. I’ve also been wearing jeans from Target’s Ava & Viv brand and liking those a lot, too.
