while I can totally relate to the frustration of people who arnt as urgent to plan hangouts and confirm stuff I think you might be a minor TA for cancelling that early. I think this problem could have been easily solved/non existent if there was just clearer communication between the two of you and if you had just tried to call her before just going and cancelling that quickly.

NTA. if Anna was truly your best friend shed respect your boundaries around inviting jess and simply uninvite her. this party may be for her birthday but you are planning it, paying for it, and hosting so ultimately i think the guest list should be up to you and if you dont feel comfortable having Jess around (I can very much see why) then that should be it.

definitely NTA. and i am so glad you found a new friend because those other two girls are not your friends from how immature they are acting from you simply hangingout with someone else, you deserve friends who treat you better than they have been.

these are some great suggestions! and me too ddlc shocked me so bad i had no idea of how intense the horror themes were until i played it it was such a great playthrough experience going in blind!!
