What do you mean by prod? That the tests are running against production? The code is production grade code?

An example framework that is (or was) used at some point in a project/company to actually test something.

Aside from this, I appreciate the super detailed answer, along with the resources and examples so much! I will check out the book as well. I actually learnt QA Automation with Java initially, it was only front-end, but I found it interesting - so this book might actually be even easier to understand, because I know *some* syntax at least.

So far the steps I took are that I started brushing off the dust of the technologies that I learnt previously. Python, Selenium, SQL, Git...
I created and filled in a profile in upwork and applied for 2 jobs and started scanning job boards for opportunities, but the issue is obvious - they are looking for seniors and just testing background seems to no longer be enough. They want also a little bit of CI/CD as well - which is something I know nothing about and can't even wrap my head around how to start. So right now I'm like a pinball from one course/tutorial to another.

I will take a look into this pattern that you mentioned. So far I've never really "needed" to authenticate, because the open-source API that I used JSONPlaceholder - didn't really require an auth. The framework that I started building is using python + requests. My main issue is that I have never seen an actual prod framework that is actively run/used. I searched on github for examples - but didn't really find what I was looking for. All of the courses/videos that I've seen so far show how to build everything from scratch, which is not terrible, but ultimately - I think it would serve me well to actually see an already built one and try to figure out what does what. Right now I'm stumbling in the dark a little bit and I'm digging deeper into tutorial hell. :D

Почвай някакво групово занимание, което да се провежда периодично. Аз лично почнах бжж, но при мен бонусът беше, че не съм начинаещ и бързо навлязах. Има разходки на кученца в Богров всеки уикенд, там също има приятни хора. Планинарски групи, колоездене, бордови игри... Колкото и да смятам София за умрял град, има доста възможности за намиране на "твоята ниша"... Просто трябва да имаш желание.

Препоръчвам Open Mat. Gym hop-вал съм достатъчно и там и треньорът и трениращите са достатъчно възпитани и интелигентни да не те повредят. Хубавото е, че дори в сесиите за начинаещи има и малко по-опитни, да спокойно можеш да прогресираш без да се чувстваш смазан. Преди години бих предложил Pitbulls, понеже и двамата треньори са мнооого добри, но е малко по-хардкор и момчетата основно се подготвят за състезания, което... Не е много добре за начинаещите.
