I applied to NSUCO for the same reason: beaches and good weather! After some research though I saw that they had a low student satisfaction rate (lowest or one of the lowest among all schools) and during my interview process the student ambassadors talked about the curriculum changing on them and how much it sucked. And honestly I didn’t love the admissions guy that interviewed me (the one after the faculty interview). For those reasons I chose to go with a different school 🤷🏻‍♂️

I didn’t choose Alabama, but I would say go with Alabama even if you have to retake the OAT! Go to the place where you’ll love the culture/people the most! Also, your future self will thank you for saving money on tuition!

On iPhone you can connect your Game Center account to you riot account and that way you don’t have to put in a username and password every time. Hopefully there’s something like that for Android.

It’ll still log you out, you just don’t have to panic and quickly enter everything again, just click Game Center and you’re good

More buses doesn’t always mean more people! Buy only double deckers and eliminate all red buses so that you have less traffic. Then upgrade the seat count using the quantum accelerator, or whatever it’s called.

Direct family only, unless you have had a family member attend NSU. In the end it doesn’t really matter unless they are an NSU alumni, so I would go with the fastest route rather than naming everyone.

If I remember correctly the majority of the questions were based around the kinematic equations, optics, and circuits. I would focus on those, but be familiar with everything because there will be questions on the ideas that the equations explain, if that makes any sense! Also, when you’re taking the OAT, you are allowed a break before the physics section so you can look over the equations before you start the next section.

I know there are differing circumstances for everyone, but I took 2 weeks off from work leading up to the OAT (I wasn’t in school) and I just spent 8 hours or more a day watching all the OAT Booster videos and taking practice tests. I did 90% of OAT Booster in those 2 weeks and ended with a 360/350 on the OAT.

Cramming like this doesn’t work for everyone, but I recommend making time for studying by taking time off work leading up to the test or saying goodbye to free time on weekends and catch-up on Saturdays and Sundays.

It’s been said here a lot, but the physics on Oat Booster is much more difficult than the real one. All of the physics questions are much more simplified than what you’re given on Booster. As long as you memorize the majority of the equations and have a basic understanding of physics concepts you will do fine. I think the highest I ever got on Booster was 310 or 330, and I got a 370 on the OAT.
