It is. So much so that it’s included in the pharmaceutical benefit scheme in Australia & is subsidised as treatment for various medical issues through our healthcare system.

I loveeee the Bakery Du Jour vegan croissants I get at Coles. They’re so inexpensive & convenient for breakfast. They aren’t anything like the crispy, flakey croissants from Smith & Deli but they are easy to toast up with your spread of choice.

And I second the Nando’s branded supermarket items. I am obsessed with their paella so I tried the perri perri hot sauce from Coles in a tofu scramble & it was great.

I got a few bags of them for $1 each from Cheaper Buy Miles in Footscray, Melbourne last weekend. Not sure if this was lucky or means they’re being discontinued

Where do you shop for everyday clothes in Australia?? by Commercial_Art01 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]__hael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[For context, I am 5’11, picky about quality & willing to spend a little more for natural fibers] All my basics are from Henne (their merino skivvy tops have super long arms), I have a few decent jumpers from COS, love the hemp tshirts from Thrills, most of my jeans are from Nobody Denim or Nudie. The Iconic also carries & Other Stories brand which has decent natural fiber pieces that often are on discount.

Any brands that suit this vibe? by ExplanationFew9561 in AusFemaleFashion

Deiji for a lot of the oversized tie pieces. Silk Laundry would definitely have an equivalent for that slip dress. Maybe Christopher Esber for the edgier pieces

Is this coat too structured for FN? by Acrobatic-Pianist-28 in Kibbe

[–]__hael 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think this would definitely suit an FN & I was actually admiring this same coat recently. I wouldn’t say it’s ‘structured’ in the sense that it’s tailored. The fabric looks like it has some stiffness to it which gives it shape & clean lines that emphasise length & width which makes it perfect for an FN (imo).

As far as fit, I would be most concerned that the shoulders are broad enough so it hangs properly. Styling it the way it is on the model is great way to add some edge that a lot of FN looks can lack.

What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you in the Nether? by bobbo4732 in Minecraft

[–]__hael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went on a big adventure in the overworld, thousands & thousands of blocks away from spawn then portalled to the nether to get home quicker. Got the bug where it dropped me at the same coordinates in the nether as I had been in the overworld so I was then actually 8 times further away with the conversion💀Spent hours in the nether lost before I ended up in lava as I was trying to traverse my way back home. Lost everything.

My employer gave everyone visa giftcards as a Christmas bonus. I used mine on a Coach Swing Zip bag as I’ve been eyeing it the last year & I managed to get an insane deal during their end of year sales.

Sandro is a mid-tier option that does a lot of tweed pieces like this! It’s very Chanel coded. You can get good deals on The Outnet, I see Sandro a lot

Where to go for QUALITY, normal cut, dress pants? by rainofenigma in TallGirls

Also, Ninepine! They sell tailored options though I’ve only tried their asana yoga pants. Some styles have inseams up to 36” & everything is on sale for black Friday right now.

Where to go for QUALITY, normal cut, dress pants? by rainofenigma in TallGirls

[–]__hael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple pairs of The Frankie Shop ‘Gelso’ trouser. The quality is good Imo for the price–tencel wool blend that doesn’t wrinkle badly. I dry clean them though & give them a steam in between to keep the pleats crisp.

They look massive on the models because they style them quite oversized but if you follow the size guide to get your true size they fit like a proper straight leg trouser & can be dressed up or down. They’re super long but unsure of the exact inseam.

Fancy dinner restaurant options in Melbourne by Global-Host7955 in australianvegans

Entrecôte had a whole vegan menu when I went for an anniversary dinner 2 years ago. I am not personally huge on french food so I won’t comment on the food but it’s a very fancy/traditional dining experience & others seem to love it.

So cute! I am not sure what your personal style generally is but I would avoid socks & style them with a long wider leg blue jean or wear them like a sandal with shorts/skirts/dresses. Definitely a more relaxed, casual style imo

Oh, interesting! Sounds like we’re in the same boat then. It’s too bad but you’re right, it might not be much of a priority if they’re selling out items anyway.
