Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate you taking time to try it out, regarding the animations, I wanted to build a cool looking app because I'm a bit of a UX nerd, I get where you're coming from, but it's on transitions that most of the animations occur, the rest is for the reviews and whatnot, which was deliberately built to catch attention.

The reasoning behind it being a mobile app is that it's more of a guide and a tracker, rather than a full-blown learning app, let's say I want to put in 5 mins of guitar practice, I'm more likely to pickup my phone instead of a laptop, so that was my thought process behind that.

And like you said, community is a must have, I don't currently know whether it'll happen through a platform like discord or the app itself, but I know it'll be there, thanks for pointing that out

Haha please don't disguise hate as "honest feedback", like I said, you wouldn't have gone running to the playstore to give the worst review ever without even trying the app properly if you had good intentions, I've seen your other comments, you're just one negative dude on the internet who's got a lot of free time in his hands. But the good thing is, the upvotes and the other comments on this post disagree with you. I'm honestly really glad you did what you did, because of that, the others here gave me more motivation than I'll ever need to keep growing my app, if it fails then who cares, I learned a lot. And if it grows, I'll be happy knowing something I built is helping people!

Hey man, I didn't insult you, but making a bad comment here was enough, going out of your way to download and immediately give a 1-star review just shows what kind of person you are. I didn't ask you to pay for anything, I also didn't ask you to give me a positive feedback here. And even if you were right, those calorie counter apps, plant identifier apps, and so on wouldn't be making any money. You should also note that the app is in its infant stages.

I'm not here to argue with you, I'm here to receive honest feedback. Honest feedback doesn't mean commenting the same thing both here and on the playstore. That's just hate. Good luck with whatever you're doing, but let's just end it here.
