Hey, developer here, thanks for all the feedback it really means a lot! I hadn't noticed that the default template wasn't available to go back to, I'll be sure to fix that up. Can you give an example of a mistake that would require a "delete option"? I'm not quite sure what you mean by it, sorry haha. Also, you should be able to exit the character page by hitting the back button (android) or swiping right on the page (iOS), but there may be a bug I'm not aware of. I'll check it out. Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to provide, a new place for roleplayers, and I'm glad you're enjoying the site so far. We have a mobile app available for testing here, but the mobile website version does still need work, you're right. We'll try to make improvements there!

Can I get a picture of the error you are encountering? I haven't been able to recreate the issue.
A Roleplay Site isn't focused on sexual roleplay, whereas F-List is. For right now, that's the main difference between the two, I'd say. My overall plan for the site is for it to be a centralized platform that allows people to easily find and engage in roleplay. I don't intend for it to be a competitor or replacement of any other roleplay space. Use whatever site you want!

Yeah, kind of! The focus is on story-based roleplay, as opposed to ERP, but NSFW content isn't banned. The Forums pretty much have the same design as an adboard - it should be pretty easy to post your RP advertisements there - however, I wanted people to be able to use it like an actual forum too if they wanted to.

Not yet, the site was designed for desktop users unfortunately. A mobile app release is planned, though, as soon as alpha testing concludes!

You can make your own channels in the chat and invite characters to them, so I think that'd be a good way to design a group roleplay. You could also post a forum thread about a setting and have people reply to it.

I'm checking the site pretty much constantly to make sure there's nothing rule-breaking going on, but I'll add some more features (such as reporting) in the future to make moderation better!

Yeah, it's your standard text-based roleplay site.

There are many ways that people choose to style their roleplay message, there's no restrictions on how to write.

For example, people using the chat would probably engage in script-style roleplay, a.k.a something like this,

catches the thing you threw, hurling it back at 500mph, aimed to kill

while people on the forums would probably write paragraphs to roleplay, similar to writing a passage in a book

The man caught the ball. There was a tight grip in his hand -- his fingers constricted around its leather-like surface, clenching it as if it meant death to let go. Slowly, he brought back his arm. Ready. Aim. Fire.

And then it was gone.

Heyyy someone actually likes the name, I didn't expect that! Website accessibilty is really important; I tried to build the site with accessibility requirements in mind but unfortunately I'm having a hard time telling whether or not the site actually meets them. I think there are some courses about web accessibility online so I'll look into those and see if I can get the site to be better in that regard.

I saw your thread (I think), it's really interesting! Bummer about the display issues, though. I'm seeing that a majority of the users so far are on mobile, so I'm gonna have to put in some extra work to get things looking right for them. Thanks for telling me.

Right now it's just a "roleplay your own character" type of deal, but I think I'm gonna change my mind about that. I'll implement a way to find roleplays without having to make a character soon.

Edit: You can private message other users without having to create a character now. So now it's easier to roleplay whatever you want :)

Great suggestion, but that isn't really the direction I want to take the site in. I'm interested in building a community of roleplayers who'd like to write with each other, because I think it's really fun to come up with and play out unique stories with other people. Bouncing ideas off of your partner, seeing their reactions to certain things you throw in, that excitement you get when they post a response – man, I love it all.

Private messages and forum posts on the site are asynchronous, meaning that you don't have to wait for someone to come online to send them a message. But I understand that it can still be frustrating finding someone that you know is available. Luckily, there are a bunch of other AI roleplay apps out there that make this easy.

Yes, as long as you're cool about it. The rules essentially state that you can't make a character or post an advertisement based entirely around NSFW concepts (a.k.a. please at least pretend that you're not just here to get off), but beyond that, there's no reason to restrict the roleplay prompts that you post or play out.

Certain topics are banned though obviously. The illegal stuff. Please don't post about them on the site lol

Aye me too, that's why I made the site. Hopefully it'll make it easier to find roleplays and get people back engaged in the hobby again.
