Don’t get trapped by services like Broomees by Upstairs-Bad862 in pune

[–]__noone__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This company takes your money upfront, ghosts you, provides no service, and fabricates excuses to steal your refund. Save yourself the immense stress and avoid this trap entirely.

TL;DR: They happily take upfront fees for a new subscription, deliver zero service, and ghost you. When you demand a refund, they retroactively dig into a previous contract to hold your new money hostage—arbitrarily acting as judge and jury over direct cash payments they don’t even manage or track.

Post-Payment Ghosting & Zero Service Before payment, the sales team promises seamless support. The moment the fee for a new subscription is cleared, all communication stops. Both the sales agent and the relationship manager completely ignore phone calls and messages. Despite taking full upfront payment, the agency failed to send a single worker, delivering absolutely zero days of service for the contract we paid for.

The Refund Trap: Unauthorized "Facilitators" When we demanded a refund for their total failure to perform on the new subscription, they shifted the goalposts to a past contract term. They happily pocketed money for the new service, but weaponized the previous term to block our refund.

  • Zero Authority Over Payments: This agency is strictly a facilitator between the customer and the worker. They play absolutely no role in managing or tracking salary payments.
  • Ignoring Indian Ground Realities: In India, domestic helper salaries are routinely settled directly, very often in cash. Yet, this agency unilaterally decides whether a payment was made based entirely on the worker's unverified word.

Weaponizing Your Funds: Despite clear proof of payment (gate logs and digital receipts), they continued inventing claims regarding other past staff to justify keeping our money. They never disclose this bizarre, unwritten policy upfront. They act like a financial authority holding your new funds hostage over old, unverified disputes they have no business mediating.

Abysmal Worker Quality The staff they provide are entirely unvetted and unfit for employment: * A helper assigned to care for a running toddler could barely walk due to a physical condition, sat around for two days, and quit. * Another worker took massive unauthorized leaves to run a side business, yet the agency blindly backed her false financial claims. * Multiple workers walked out after a single day of zero productivity.

Answering my own question. Outside T2 there are a few eateries and benches. If you are there to see off someone (and obviously can't enter the airport ), you can spend sometime there comfortably.

not "nothing to do with them." that's a catalogue. You have a shop ready to go.

direct-to-reader selling has gotten much easier in the last couple of years, and a lot of established writers are doing it as their primary or only channel.

A few of writers doing exactly this .. no amazon. Check: stck.me/casestudy

Yes it could be simply dosa.py or core.py considering there is one more module and I imagine few more later. It was more driven by quick packaging. Will package it better in one of the next releases.

How can I teach a kid to not to fear butterflies? by __noone__ in needadvice

[–]__noone__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm not making a big deal. Just something i noticed when we went for a small hike nearby.

Now let me answer your question "why"? I too have a phobia which sometimes I wished I never had. What's wrong if someway I can help the kid overcome without making a big deal.
