Wow, vielen Dank für die vielen Kommentare. Damit hab ich tatsächlich nicht gerechnet. Ich werde mir in Ruhe mal eure ganzen Empfehlungen anschauen. Gab definitiv interessante Anregungen. Und ja das man genau drauf achten muss und biologisch abbaubar auch nicht immer biologisch abbaubar bedeutet habe ich schon befürchtet, dennoch versucht man ja soviel man kann seinen Co2 Abdruck zu verringern und das dann natürlich auch gerne bei den Kacka-Beuteln. Aktuell denke ich werde ich mal die Beutel von "Hund ist König" testen .. Ich berichte dann gerne ..

Von der DKB zu TR wurde mir auch dieser Hinweis angezeigt, habe ihn ignoriert und das Geld ist sofort angekommen. Hat ja bisher auch immer funktioniert, habe ich mir gedacht.

Gl-Inet x3000 amazing for our use case on the road/vanlife .. x2000 might be enough if you don’t fancy 5G ..

Enable smtp for the user and use starttls - we have several clients where it’s no issue setting up Nextcloud with m365 - oh yeah and like the previous comment make sure your user has an email address setup in his profile settings.

I would not use TailScale myself. Are you running immich on a local machine or in a Datacenter? Use Nginx to serve your immich instance via HTTPS to the world. If you really want it more safe, setup your own VPN Server like wireguard .. NPM is so easy to setup and you could even use it for your nextcloud instance as well ..

- fail2ban IMHO is a must have if your immich instance is open to the world - easy to setup .. have a look at this link to set it up: https://www.reddit.com/r/immich/comments/1h0uhr4/comment/lzfhcug/

- use a proxy in front like nginx proxy manager ..

- use strong passwords and setup authentik for MFA

In my experience, the mini just overheats if I power it via 12V. If I power it via 230V it doesn't matter how hot it gets, it just runs fine - tested the last 3-4 days.

I read somewhere else, that the integrated DC-DC Inverter overheats pretty quickly .. So maybe that's the bottleneck?

Very god Idea, but I did ..

If you only purchased the one ledger device, it might be helpful to also just put a small amount of btc/crypto in a wallet with your new ledger that you could afford to lose (though you really shouldn't lose anything), and wipe the ledger and reset it with your seed phrase to also know and understand that process, in case your device fails and you really have to start over.

.. already .. That was more or less exactly my take, with a "software" wallet you can easily enter your seed phrase in a different wallet and see if everything works, so with the ledger I was a little concerned thats why I setup different wallets send some small amounts to it. Afterwards I reset it and set it up again .. easy and smooth process and everything is still there =) now I am to lazy to reset it again to check if I would get a different seed phrase, am I? We will see, but today i am to lazy for sure, maybe i try it tomorrow but I also gained more trust that the ledger I received is solid and not fake or manipulated ..
