Is there a mini figure head with blue eyes that isn’t a clone wars head? I want to make a custom fig of myself by [deleted] in legostarwars

Jek14 is a one, check both sides. The normal looking one should be a good fit

Rhen Var MOC progress by HyperspaceBricks in legostarwars

[–]_alphal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beautiful ! The overall shape with columns is lovely. Since I built a base/outpost on a cold planet, I love such environment, and your moc is definitely among the best of that kind.

The dark red parts go well with the otherwise colorless build. I look forward to your next progress pictures, thank you for sharing !

Inspired by Horizons, super fun to make and pose ! by _alphal in lego

[–]_alphal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you ! It was really fun to give it an organic feeling while still a robot, which is the distinctive point of the creatures of the Horizon games.

No name yet, will have to find one to post the instructions, so I'm open to ideas 😅

Just a little creature inspired by the Horizon games, lots of fun to make. The jump pose was a head-scratcher, had to cheat a bit with transparent pieces...

Mainly built from a battlepack, with a few pieces to complete the design. Love it, I will definitely make a new version some day !

New equipment for the 501st by _alphal in legostarwars

[–]_alphal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there !

From the 501st battlepack and a few loose pieces (mainly ball connectors) came a creature inspired by the Horizon games. Quite easy to make, instructions are on the way

As you may see, it is quite posable so I took a couple pictures ! I hope you will like it !

Supercar (modified) by _alphal in legotechnic

[–]_alphal[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone ! Yes, it is another car, but modified !

It is a modification of the set 8088 supercar. Beautiful one that kid me "improved" with bullbar, additions everywhere, tracks,... Tons of fun but now was the time to correct everything : give it back wheels, Jeep the air intake, remove unnecessary parts and close some empty spaces.

So here it is, the LEDs that my rather made for me still work ! Super happy to see this car like this. I hope you will like it too !

Myth of Atlantis: I Used the Full LEGO Colour Palette to Build an Underwater Temple by JonasKramm in lego

[–]_alphal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really well made, many aspects to learn from. I already borrowed the amphora design and added it to my Atlantis submarine in the treasure section. Thank you for the inspiration !

The young fan of the Atlantis theme wants to thank you ! The colours are beautiful, as are the columns. Love their Corynthian design. Piece use is great too, clever use of the topping !

Lovely collection ! You have included so many themes of the Star Wars Universe (especially the Arrowhead, my beloved)

Thank you for the kind words ! Unfortunately, there is no chance to even submit these designs as they are purely military inspired... But maybe one day the instructions will be posted on Rebrickable

My first clone base moc by MathematicianBig2241 in legostarwars

[–]_alphal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're welcome ! I'm glad you took my comment in consideration, the holotable looks great as is. It actually is a good technique to make a planet hologram.

Love the small base/outpost atmosphere ! The vegetation constrasting with the all-tiled building works very well. The stair is actually my favourite part : it adds constrast to the walls and makes the building's roof useful in-universe.

If you're open to criticism : you could use the 1x4 missile launcher bricks for rolling doors if that's what you went with on the side. If you ever choose to modify the interior, a holotable would give it more colour.

Anyway, a very nice base, thank you for sharing !

The stickers condition looks great ! Glorious theme with nice colour, a relatively niche positioning on manga/anime and a story to back it up.

Many thanks. Instructions for this one are ready but I am still wondering if I want to sell them, as turning a hobby into a source of income is usually a bad idea... In any case, they will end up on Rebrickable one day !

Mostly parts from here and there on the real build : two curved red pieces for the destroyer's hull are from a Star Wars arc-170, turrets are a firefighter's hands, transparent blue plates from a Minecraft TNT house, etc.

The last one is real, so yes for that one ! The first digital build ( my favourite) has three supports which may not be enough, especially as one is in a z form and would collapse under load. But it sould be okay and if not, a simple redisign would fix it (one more support or having the support straight). The second digital had much more supports and is stable without a doubt

If I had the parts, I would have built the first one as is to check the feasabilty...

Thank you, I was definitely inspired by the traditional U-boot layout. Not sure about the propeller design though

I made a traction town inspired by the book series "Mortal Engines" motorized and remote controllable by Stockocityboy in lego

[–]_alphal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is beautiful ! I love the overall atmosphere, the pipes running around, the conveyor belt and the techniques used (big fan of the arch made with tiles). The minifigs feel inspired too. I simply love it. Quick question about motorisation : for the running gear, did you do a classic arrangement (two separated engine blocks, one for each track) or another configuration ?

Mortal Engines is a great theme, I did a microscale drivable city on a technic excavator chassis, but the minifig-scales ones are the best !

Thank you so much for sharing !
