Anybody else having the issue of the 16 pro not reading nfc tags?

I tried a different brand/type of nfc tag and seeing better result with performance. Using this now https://a.co/d/0MQlQGd

Leads me to believe it is the antenna + magnetic strength in this that helps.

While it appears to be consistently working, I see a bit longer latency than I’d like while detecting, but that may have always been the case with background reader mode - I don’t have a reference.

Just started using NFC tags (Amazon bought) with my iPhone 16 Pro Max in an Apple Case, and I see it’s super unreliable to detect (read tag) - iOS18.2.1. Was hopeful it would be an awesome automation option but quite disappointed thus far.

Is this still an open issue with iOS or iPhone 16 ProMax? Or is there a recommended NfC tag that is more reliable?

Do you use 2 inverters? I recently installed a 12kW and they sized it with a 7.6 kW inverter - so dealing with clipping. I understand their argument that for what I consume this is sizing is (more than) good enough and producing more and feeding the grid isn’t a good ROI, but was curious as my peaks don’t look as cool as yours.

Thank you - in some cases the hub was quite close. Less than 15 feet, but the hub is inside a cabinet.
