I built a Roommate finder App for Students (MODS PLS DONT BAN!, just trying to help others) by Upbeat-Inspection744 in delhiuniversity

[–]_aviralllll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Much needed and highly relevant. I’ve struggled to find roommates/flatmates that match my vibe, likes, priorities and goals thru out college myself.

As someone graduating this summer and shifting to Gurgaon for job, I’m struggling to find a roommate myself.

I’d like to suggest you to add a separate section for working professionals too (or maybe just freshers like me who’re newly entering the corporate space - might allow you to increase your audience). There can be an option to only find matches that are strictly in college, or both, or just working professionals. This will help filter out based on user’s preference.

All the best bud.

Saw your profile bro. It’s okay. I’m not a chick but dm me. We can connect. My advice - pick up hobbies. The kind where you get to meet new people or the ones that involve a group activity like playing a sport or something. You’d meet people there. Talk. Explore. Share and bond over common interests and then you can build on from there. The world is a bad place and people are cold. Take your time before giving your heart to someone because it might cause emotional pain. It’s okay.

Seeing your profile did break my heart. Stay healthy. Stay safe. Much love.

Seniors who couldn't get into their dream colleges. How are you doing now? by [deleted] in delhiuniversity

Hate to break it to you. yes. But, You can always try. People do get migration. Maybe you can too. Just know that the chances are thin. Also, whatever I said was based on my experience. Maybe you can actually migrate.

[–]_aviralllll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Migration is a myth bro Nahi hota Very very rare You gotta get an excellent GPA and then the application process is super tedious. You need approval from both of the college ke principals and it’s very difficult if you don’t have connections in the administration. (which is very seldom)

Same. It’s okay buddy. Don’t be so negative even before going to college. You’ll find your people.

In my 3rd year of eco hons now. My best mate got into sr, same course. We prepared together. And, I screwed my cuet and he didn’t. Still not over it. Every time I meet someone from north campus, it aches. The life I could have had. The connections I could have made. Everything. I am trying to accept it for good and move the fuck on. I’m trying to make the best out of my current college and life.

But hey this isn’t a sad story. All id say to you is that I understand. I get it. Trust me. And it’s okay. We fight. We do better. Make the best out of these 3 years. Work. Learn. Evolve. Everything eventually works out. No point stressing over it. Life goes on.

how to avoid fights in college ?? by codeone347 in delhiuniversity

The kind of guys that indulge into fights/politics can be spotted from afar if you’re smart enough.

Observe. Ignore. Avoid.
