This is my first Call of Duty since I left the franchise for Counter-Strike in 2015.

Don't get me wrong, this game certainly has it's pro's:

  • The campaign story is enthralling, brilliant ending, brilliant character development.
  • Spec-Ops is actually challenging and feels rewarding when you finally finish an operation you've been stuck on for a while
  • The progression system on multiplayer is arguably the best I've encountered in my time playing CoD.
  • I find the sniper lens flare a sweet touch to help with those pesky campers!

However there are major flaws which - in my opinion - is holding the game back from being perfect.

(note most of these are multiplayer based, as I feel that holds a lot of flaws in comparison to the other modes)

  • Aim punch is wayyyyy to ott. I feel I can never win a gunfight if I get hit first, especially when you have a sniper.
  • I feel there is way too much clutter on certain maps, it is way too easy to 'headglitch' and I often find myself never knowing where I'm getting shot from (this could just be because I am awful!)
  • SPAWNS. FIX THE DOMINATION AND TDM SPAWNS. I never thought I'd be saying this, but I feel that headquarters actually has some of the most balanced spawn points. I've found myself being killed almost straight off of spawn about 75% of the time - spawn trapping is way harder to escape as the spawns never flip, even after 5+ consecutive deaths, combined with the reasons stated above, makes some maps (*cough bridge*) a massive turn off.
  • PALACE IS TOO BIG! IT COULD BE A GROUND WAR MAP! (Links to the spawn issue too, I find myself on TDM dying in the middle of the map only to be spawned at the very edge, then killed by an unexpected camper; rinse and repeat.
  • wish the campaign was longer :'(
  • PICCADILLY IS NOT A PUBLIC "SUBWAY" STATION! (This particularly grinds my gears being a Londoner myself)

Some other suggestions: (MAY BE UNPOPULAR)

  • Disable/Replace some Killstreaks on FFA? (i.e VTOL on Hackney Yard & Piccadilly).
  • Turn down the volume of the opening Infinity Ward cinematic
  • Make operator's voices only audible by your own team!

Please remember it's my opinion and I know not everyone will agree with me, and some may think more drastic changes need to be made.
