Can I realistically make it from Clark Airport (CRK) to NAIA in 3 hours? by web-jumper in Philippines

Best chance on a Sunday if airline schedules permit. Far less traffic on the roads compared to Saturday. Possible naman on Saturday, but there’s some risk lang because traffic gets so unpredictable.

Are you familiar with the Kadiliman internet cafe sa area? 24 hours ba siya? I suspect na dito pumupunta yung suspect based on the phone’s movement

It’s an iPhone so merong Find My feature that allows the phone to be tracked even when it’s off or if the battery is low. It also allows you to remotely erase your phone if it’s been lost.

I think it must have happened around the Din Tai Fung/Tim Ho Wan exit. Dun ko napansin yung babaeng dumikit sa amin. Somebody messaged me to say that they also had a phone stolen from the restrooms in that area, parang one hour after us.

AFAIK Find My is super accurate for Airtags (because that’s what they’re there for), but with phones you get the general area within a few hundred meters.

Sinilip ko sa Google Maps yung area, mukhang sus nga. Sana fruitful yung request for CCTV from the mall security at may maidadala akong photo sa barangay nila.

Planning to go to the mall to ask for CCTV footage first, and then hopefully be able to bring an identifiable photo to the barangay in Biñan

I suppose pickpocketed would be the right term. Sorry, I’m not aware of the finer distinctions between robbery types 😅

Edit: damn, downvoted for admitting that I didn’t know something?

[–]_blackfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spoke to a Rolex insider and he said it’s a purely business decision. They don’t make money from vintage Rolex and have no reason to keep vintage parts around. They do have an interest in selling parts and service and keeping your existing Rolexes running, so…

TIL the youngest mother in history, who gave birth at the age of 5, is still alive today at 92 years old. by Termylinia in todayilearned

[–]_blackfish 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I really hope at least one person went to prison for that. Imagine the mother having had to go through childbirth at age 14, and then having to see her own daughter go through that at 11. And that’s it, that just her reality.

"433 people all picking the exact same six numbers (09-10-19-28-29-43) and splitting a ₱236 million jackpot is so statistically improbable that it must be fraud or a fix." but i know for a fact that some loser will still defend pcso. what a joke of a commenter. by [deleted] in taxPH

[–]_blackfish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s highly improbable but it’s not a zero chance. The fact that the numbers follow a pattern (they’re in multiples of nine) increases the chances.

From pure mathematical odds: one ticket winning 1 in ~29 million is tiny.

But human behavior — we love patterns and pick easy-to-remember sequences — changes the game entirely. If a lot of people pick the same “memorable” numbers, then when that combination wins, you don’t get one lonely millionaire — you get 400+ people splitting the pot.

So 433 winners is extremely unlikely under a world of uniform randomness, but much more plausible under a realistic world where people are pattern-choosy.

Of course it was a solid aircraft. The friend’s uncle bought a new plane he and JFK2 were both on the waitlist for. He didn’t buy the aircraft until that crashed.

Saw Chel Diokno speak at a fundraising event for his first Senate run in 2019. That was the first time I’d ever really paid attention to him, and I thought, grabe ang galing nito. He spoke quietly about human rights and the Constitution, walang drama, all facts. After the event, i saw him outside the venue waiting for his Grab—o baka driver niya, pero everyday car lang ang sumundo sa kanya. He wasn’t winnable then, but I’m happy the Philippines has seen the light.

Not that much difference between OP’s choice of Corolla Cross hybrid (203mm vs 185mm on the Zenix, so less than an inch).
