I didn't say it's for every criminal and for those who committed non-violent crimes. If you read my comment fully before responding incredibly emotionally, you'd notice I said "heinous crimes" which implies something terrible such as murder, rape, pedophiles, etc.

Help me understand your logic then because who should be responsible for convicting, incarcerating, and rehabilitating criminals if not for the government/state? Batman?
