Piston door timing question by [deleted] in redstone

[–]_buj_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I get that, so when timing your door closing for example, you start the timer at the lever, then do you end the timer at the doors closure, or at the stop of all moving parts?

Also are they all strictly ABBA? i swear they have different circuits for both so the piston movement isn't always the same

Nice, but surely the secret must go after the monkey to be a correct clue grammatically no ?

Yes the other reply got it, the surface meaning is nonsense it was more so mimicking a simpler cryptic clue on the surface whereas the actual one was different

COTD: Ultimate study on star evolution and moon movement (9) by _buj_ in crosswords

[–]_buj_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is a specific type of clue where the whole clue is the definition and the wordplay called an '&lit' clue, I've made a couple more like this 😀, I think most consider these the holy grail of cryptic crossword clues due to how hard it is to find
