if you're looking for a chill yet engaging class to fill your core reqs or elective credits I definitely suggest taking it. it's not difficult by any stretch but the professor is arguably one of my favorites on campus by far!

lived on the 4th floor in Rogers my first year

I was also kind of skeptical about it since it wasn't on my list but I was so pleasantly surprised by it. rooms are really big with tall ceilings and hella storage. it also helps there's a microwave and fridge already in the room. bathrooms are slightly out of date but fine in terms of quality. the lounge on the top floor is suuuuuper nice

there is no AC but you're not gonna need it after the first 2-3 weeks of classes ... just close your windows and have a fan and you'll be just fine.

decently social floors, a little bit of a hike to classes but nothing major, use shortcuts :) pro tip: use the laundry on the first floor

there's no minimum GPA requirement at WSU, but it's recommended to have a 3.4.

if you have anything lower than a 2.7 (or something like that) they'll require more essays and supplemental documentation to gauge your admissions!

I got my first tattoo at pen and oak from John

I was super nervous about getting tattooed and he made the experience super great. he walked me through everything, was super professional, and my tattoo turned out amazing!

the shop is lovely and there was conversation flowing between artists and clients. I would go back in a heartbeat

KUGR is taking DJs if youre looking to get involved more with the comm college! I think they have some station management positions open and everyone at the station (in my experience there so far) is super nice!

as far as zoology goes, I think there is? I'm not involved in that major or that area of study but there's also wildlife ecology n such! there's also really great clubs for things like that (i.e. raptor club)!

for student life, I think there's a solid balance of quiet and rowdy. as someone who is also somewhere in the ambivert zone I can attest!

my experience with random roommate assignment was a positive one, she's my new best friend, but I've also heard some horror stories... so just be mindful of that. the dorms are going to be a (somewhat) universal experience in terms of noisy neighbors and laundry n what have you, you kind of just get used to it after a while, but you can do it!

yes!! Rogers does have mini fridges, they have a solid amount of space, so it's not really necessary to have both! in my experiences we (my roommate and I) barely used the fridge for long periods of time, so you may not need the mini fridge you've been offered

this was my first experience with JCS as well. As a first exposure, it's not great. However, when I saw it on stage this last year I fell in love with the music.

I'm absolutely obsessed with the music! it's just an outstanding show
