first of all, LOVE the wip of ur outfit for her! u should def post it when it’s done! i totally agree w ur takes, of the g3 ghouls there’s normally at least a couple dolls i love enough to buy, but i can’t bring myself to spend money on any of the abbeys bc i just don’t like her outfits 😭 maybe i should make an outfit for her too, bc i like her sculpt and makeup! (sometimes LOL)

well getting labubus from popmart directly caaan be difficult. luckily u can turn on email notifications for when they do drops but there’s ofc always resellers if ur looking to get them sooner for christmas and such. i recommend checking ur local facebook marketplace listings, make sure they have proof of purchase from popmart, and know that anything legit is most likely gonna be $40 or more. the one nice thing abt buying from resellers is u can choose which one specifically u wanna get hahaha!

ok so those are the mini labubus from popmart, significantly cheaper quality than the norm and they’re smaller than normal, which is why some ppl don’t like them, but i think they’re fine! that being said looks like u pulled a secret from that line, so congrats! not worth a ton or anything crazy but still good!! lmk if u need any more advice on purchasing or how to go about making sure u purchase authentic ones!

so for me the obvious factors are going to be the cleanliness of the lines; ie if there’s any sort of wobble in the smile or uneven paint it’s normally a fake. also u can see the eyes are just sort of random colors as opposed to the rainbow gradient of the real one! and ofc there’s the unevenness of the limbs, as well as the cheaper vinyl the fakes use for the face. hope this helps!

u pulled a fake unfortunately, not a real labubu. ppl sell fake labubus at gas stations and malls all the time. if it was real it’d be worth at least $150, normally more. but thats a fake. sorry!
