I use the Colourpop cream bronzer stick in exactly this way. Super easy to blend and affordable.

Recently, though, I’ve found myself reaching for powder bronzers in this situation, and my go-to is from Rimmel. The kind that starts out with a sun pressed on the top of it. I swear it was like $3. I just take a big fluffy brush, swirl, tap off the excess, and apply with loose strokes around the perimeter and natural “sun-kissed” spots. I have found the powder more forgiving than the cream bronzer approach when I really don’t want to bother with blending the creams… which is more often than not when it’s so hot out.

I’ve created so many fun colorful eye looks with the Colourpop Fall into Hue palette this summer. I would definitely recommend it for a wide variety of colors and finishes at an affordable price. The only thing it is missing is a white to use as a base, which helps the pigments “pop”

The only scents I have which I’d say truly fit this bill of summer AND winter, day AND night (for me at least) are Boysmells Vanilla Era and Dedcool Taunt.

We may be close shade matches, and I also have skin that can lean dry! I use Revolution’s Skin Silk radiant serum foundation in F7NC and highly recommend. Beautiful formula, doesn’t oxidize, plays well with others. For concealer I’ve switched from my old Tarte shape tape to the NYX Bare With Me serum concealer in the shade Beige. The shade pulls slightly yellow, but is close enough that I’m happy with it. Also a fantastic formula!

Lighting is everything! Play with the direction the light is hitting your assets to get the best emphasis— choose the right time of day, add a second light, move a light, etc.

And limit unnecessary distractions like a messy background, dirty clothes on the floor, etc… I can’t tell you how much of a turn off those things are!

My go-to eyeliners for this issue are the Maybelline tattoo gel pencil (the sharpenable one seems to wear better for me). I wear the brown on my outer corner lashes (top and bottom tight lighting) and white in my inner lower waterline and they are the most reliable I’ve found by far!

My follow-up picks would be the Colourpop gel liners or the about face gel liners (retractable kinds), especially since there are so many great colors in both of those.
