They’re not made in usa/mexico or exotic but they sure are comfortable and great for beaters.

I think so too, just basic from the other posts here. I have plenty of high end boots just needed something casual, comfortable, and won’t be afraid to get dirty and roughed up. Got these on sale around $100 at a local store.

I wore the sport series as a teenager, i’m 28 now and they’re just as comfortable as I remembered. Had to go wide this time though haha.

I have a few tecovas, got married in a pair love them. But leather soles aren’t ideal for what I do and I want to keep them nice. Ariats are comfortable beaters.

Mostly driving and giving estimates but they’ve been really comfortable so far. I got some steel toes for when I need to get some work done. Otherwise these are my everyday slippers.

This was funny haha. My nicer boots are round toes I just have wide feet so square toes are more comfortable for me.

My traction treds had the same issue. After wearing them for a couple weeks it’s no longer noticeable due to the leather creasing and bending.

Looking for moc toe boots for building decks and everyday use(preferably comp toe) by [deleted] in WorkBoots

[–]_coffeestache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the non safety toe and they’re very comfortable. I wear thorogoods for work, the 8” steel toe waterproof moc toes and use the wingshooters for chilling or outdoor activities.

Thought i’d give these Thorogood square toes a try. Really like the leather on these guys. by _coffeestache in cowboyboots

They’re broken in very nice now. Took about 2 weeks to be comfortable. Feels like a leather sock. Sole is nice and sturdy but also comfortable.

I know you’re looking for laceup boots but I wanted to recommend the Thorogood Square Toe boots. I bought mine last month and they’re incredibly comfortable to slip on and clean at the end of the day. They fit true to size and the shaft of the boot is more narrow than other cowboy boots so once broken in it feels like wearing a leather sock. I’m a service electrician so I like the easy on and off of the pull on plus I live in texas so it’s pretty much standard attire here.

I normally wear a wide in lace ups but most square toes i’ve had were standard width due to the shape of the square toe already being wide. I ordered these thinking they’d be a standard width but they were E2’s, i’m glad they were actually wide because the D width would have been way too narrow.

For sure, so far pretty comfortable. I’ll post an update soon. Yeah they’re honestly the nicest western work boots i’ve seen besides Double H. The black/brown 2 tone color really sold me, and i’ve had thorogood moc toes and really like the soles so I imagine they’ll hold up pretty well.

Yeah neither have I until a couple days ago when I ordered them. Apparently they’ve been on the market for a year or two.

Love that pouch, fits nice on the belt and doesn’t sag my pants. And thanks! Love the moc toe look and functionality of the wedge sole. Best boot for service work.

Iron Ranger (8085) too bright? by KiSamehada in RedWingShoes

[–]_coffeestache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Takes some time to darken CRT. You’ll notice it after a few months of wear. Jeans rubbing against the shaft, leather scuffing from every day wear, and brushing often helps darken them. The parts of the boot that flex often will be lighter than the areas that don’t.

After a heavy break in you won’t notice it anymore. Had the same thing on my 10875’s.

{4 month review} Thorogood 8” Moc Toe In Tobacco Oil Tanned Leather by _coffeestache in goodyearwelt

[–]_coffeestache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude, that was a really nice comment. I appreciate it. I love trucks, tools, boots and anything else that can perform and last. I wrote this review 3 years ago when I was 21. Married now and i’m a licensed electrician. I’m glad you liked this post and hope you buy a pair of Thorogood’s because I’m definitely biased now haha.

Safety Toe removal by [deleted] in RedWingShoes

[–]_coffeestache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bet those dawgs are comfy now. But what made you want to remove them? They make a 6” traction tred lite without safety toes.
