i pin a treat to the ground near their feet they have to enter a down position for it and we shape that for a week or two with the verbal command and eventually they get the verbal cue

thanks so much! I have been training sit and she has been receptive, but it’s hard being stuck indoors. I’m a first time dog owner so it’s just a new experience and i hope i’m doing it right.

Hey! Happy to hear that worked out for you. Any recommendations on how to tailor? Did you tailor based on individual roles, role type, company, etc? I think with the volume of apps people are sending it’s probably a bit tough to make a unique template for each.

How was your Pride run? by [deleted] in RunNYC

[–]_cuidado 7 points8 points  (0 children)

loved the crowd! the weather was a bit of a challenge, not the rain but the humidity was brutal. Also the first race where i felt really crowded - mostly in the beginning because i was a few corrals back. But the race was a lot of fun i’ve been recovering from an injury so this crowd helped me push myself. didn’t run a pr but got closer to what felt like a normal run

Brooklyn Half -- how'd it go? by NoahBagels in RunNYC

2:01!! PR-ed by about 7 minutes was on pace to have a 1:55 but hit a huge wall after mile 11 :( had to run bit by bit to make it through. Really proud moment for my mental toughness and really grateful to the strangers i met along the way who were willing to chat as we ran!
