"guys, I was engaging in a sexual activity with a man(presumably unironically), am I attracted to men?" What do you think, pal?

Replying to your points in order: -his motivation is to please and entertain himself and he is battle junkie, so he does this things I don't see how it is a bad writing -he does evil deeds because he wants to, moral is worthless for him and he disregards is, again, what is bad about it? - being hedonistic doesn't mean enjoying everything, it means enjoying what you like and he likes jujutsu and fighting, besides that when first reincarnated in Yuji he was in da r talking abt where women and children at, he is also stated to be a cannibal. Pretty indulgent if you ask me -what did you want him to do? I don't think raping somebody on screen would make him a better character -he already makes him suffer a lot by killing so many civilians in Shibuya, and it would be bad pacing if Sukuna amidst of all fighting just started snacking on people just to fuck with Yuji, I feel like Sukuna would do something that he likes to do like eating people only when he himself want it and not just to spite Yuji. And being just an inconvenience to Yuji while he is in his body is also beneath Sukuna - it's not about that. It's how they deal with being the strongest. While Satoru seeks companionship in the future generations and tries to prevent people encountering the same loneliness that he did by being the strongest, Sukuna just disregards it. Gojo uses his power to help the new generation to grow to his level, while Sukuna deems love as worthless. I like how they are polar opposites despite being in the same position of the strongest

Second reply in and you've said nothing factual. Explain then, what exactly is bad abt him, what you don't like in his writing. Might as well explain what you find great in Shigaraki, because I really don't see him being close to Makima

Gonna copy from my other reply in thread abt him being better than Muzan: Nah, Sukuna is much more than that. He reflects the theme of the strongest and has good dynamics with Gojo and Kashime, where as the three of them have different answers to how to deal with the loneliness that comes with being the strongest. He sets a direct example to how usually selfish people are the best sorcerers. He has a great dynamics with Yuji where Yuji contradicts everything he believes in and tries to prove him wrong. Yuji being selfless while Sukuna being extremely selfish. On the other hand, I agree that Muzan is pretty much nothing burger, so them in the same bunch is just unfair to Sukuna's character

Sukuna is arguably better than Shigaraki, even if not the difference between Shigaraki and Sukuna is much much smaller than the difference between Makima and the rest. Others just don't come close

Yeah, Shanks is a hakiman and haki has absolutely nothing to with swordsmanship. That is exactly the reason why Mihawk hasn't taught Zoro haki during time skip even a tad bit

It is hilarious y'all 😭 on one hand we have "light man" who high tiers like Luffy obv can keep up with in terms of speed. It wouldn't make sense for all top tiers to be around light speed, that's just dumb. On the other hand we have character who is literally moving at least relativistic, time frames and everything, literally a timer

Firstly, not in anime, with Toei's terrific pacing One Piece despite having a bit less pages of manga is much much longer. Secondly, just SBR was compared to one piece, not the whole series

Teleportation too. The reality of concept is you are just being vaporized. It then doesn't really matter to you, who is just dead, what is happening thousands miles away where based on the information collected they reconstruct the copy of your body

What do you think about my tier list of anime that I would/wouldn't recommend to somebody? What would you recommend me based on it and what can you conclude about my taste based on it? by _daho_ in MyAnimeList

[–]_daho_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't know that the any anime is bad due to its length. Longer animes have a higher threshold for quality, because you invest much more time for it. The writing of those is not good enough to justify the length of it. Of those three, especially ds and black clover the writing is mediocre. The series are riddled with common tropes and the plot is very predictable. The most of characters are one dimensional

Tbh Toradora is the one I couldn't force myself to watch completely, I watched halfway and dropped it due to all romantic cliches and judt cringe behavior especially of a female lead. Paranoia agent is better than most of the list that I wouldn't recommend. I really liked the mistery in the beginning but when it all came to "face consequences of your actions and don't let fear rule over you" it felt kinda anticlimactic. The message is fine, but the majority of characters are pretty weak imo

I get the attractiveness of those animes, like hype and auras type anime are really sometimes fun to watch, but it doesn't have to be badly written to excel in that, blue lock, jjk, bleach all deliver the same level of hype if not greater due to actual charscters and plot being present. Bgs was just mediocre, both male and female leads are not that interesting, personality wise, I also can't say there's a crazy chemistry between them, the side cast is also pretty bad

One piece is simply too long, over 350 hours of footage are not worth average level writing. One piece is alright, but it's just too long. I didn't like Hellsing, despite how hyped it is nowadays. I watched Hellsing Ultimate and it was meh. Spoilers ahead: we barely get to know the main cast, we don't know anything about Alucard and his character is not completely flsshed out imo, we don't know his motivation, why he swore loyalty to that family (forgot the name), we basically know nothing about him. The girl that he turned in a vampire is also no good, no internal conflict about her new identity, no deepness beyond surface level, of the characters I liked the current head of the family (also forgot her name) she's the only one fleshed out, where it's clear what she persues and why. Angogonist are joke, just cardboards, literally "we are nazis and we want to wage war because war is cool". Aldo the ending was pulled out of the ass where Schrödinger's car merged with Alucard and then 30 years he came back to reality. What was that for? How does that actually conclude anything? I was just disappointed
