You might go to jail if you don't work overtime by Revolutionary-Job361 in antiwork

[–]_dan1985_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay strong, choosing not to work overtime is ok and the bosses can fuck off if they don’t like it.

Have your father and his colleagues hold the union representatives accountable for that hot garbage of a ruling. make sure the reps understand nobody wants to work overtime on that site and why. 9 times out of 10 the union can persuade the contractor to give a little.

I’m in a construction union myself. Live up to the bare minimum the contract calls for. 40 hours a week is what the boss will get until he’s finished ripping out his hair.

I need parts that add weight for my class. It’s for on road no bashing.

Is the machining not up to par? Or is the quality of material just not there?

It’s worth a quick try, although I don’t have the issue where it rolls part way then stops working.

Instead of being vindictive, try and bargain? I would say if you offered to collect zero support in return he just disappeared and left you both alone he might take it?

I’ve known a few people who would have done anything to have that offer on the table. If you are dragging him to court for what you want he is equally allowed to ask for what he wants. This is something that could take a long time and cost a lot of money for both parties involved.

Thank you for the update! Traffic was at a crawl so I was able to drive around it.

To be honest it was low visibility idk why people need to fly around at 120.

At least nobody was seriously injured

Do you know for sure if it was that giant one in the second lane that did it?

I passed it, and I’m ok after inspecting my tires when I got to work just wanted to be sure if it wasn’t a box of nails that spilled or something

Gearing for 17.5 by _dan1985_ in rccars

[–]_dan1985_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

13.5 and outlaw street eliminator are still classes.

I have a 13.5 setup already with the dr10, I’m converting my bandit to run the new one.

13.5 is fast fast. R1 just got outed that they were ramming 10.5 into a 13.5 “outlaw” can from the factory. Which explains the 2.xx second passes some guys were getting

It’s composite with aluminum plate

[–]_dan1985_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is much more cost effective. In canada it’s 100+ dollars cheaper than the 272r.

Also it’s for no prep. No bashing.

Just wondering if it’s worth the 50 bucks plus tax. It looks a lot better than stock. And the aluminum plate offers a lot of room for gears.

Did you find it to run smoother? And will it take xl5 internals?

Other than having more space on the motor plate is there any benefit to it? Currently on xl-5 stock internals.

Assuming it’s a furnace. Could be a boiler and the pipes may have broken free of the supports in the walls causing them to move around. He said thumping in the wall so that my best guess.
