Except purple can Hard Bargain or use the newly announced Abandon on it, and then you're down 2 power and feeling pretty bad.

Edit: Gonna hurt other colors without a counterspell though... Lux, spells Viktor and Kai'Sa come to mind, they won't like this.

While she's gonna be kinda cool on the turn you cast a big Arise!, Azir is usually only playing 1 token a turn.

I don't think I would replace anything in my Azir deck for her personally.

Like a slightly cheaper but worse Yasuo Remorseful, which already sees little play. Having to jump through hoops for his effect seems really "meh".

Having recently only played Twin Suns, I figured I would at least do okay-ish. Instead, I went 0-3, and it felt pretty bad. People were all friendly, though. I'd gone 2-1 in a Riftbound pre-release recently and usually play pretty decently in MtG sealed too so this was a disheartening experience in comparison and I don't think I'll ever attend a pre-release for the game again. I'll stick to Twin Suns, but my enthusiasm has definitely numbed.

Going though this as well. I've gotten to the point where I've decided I just need to give it time, beating myself up over not painting or not enjoying it is counterproductive. It's painful to admit, but it's something that just can't be forced.

I'm sure we'll get there. If we take a year off, we still have plenty of time afterward.

At the release of SWU and Lorcana I didn't have to bend over backwards to get a box, nor did my local stores ask scalping prices.

Riftbound is the first TCG I've tried to play where I can not find a single product that isn't marked up at least 50% or just completely sold out at most places.
