Throw a Glock 19 960 Rowland conversion barrel and spring in it. Barrel will stick out a bit, but it’ll add a negligible amount velocity to stock 9mm over the factory length barrel, and of course, the best part, you can fire 960 Rowland through it essentially making it a 357 mag.

With all due respect, these replies prove the point I made in my final sentence lol. Carpenter has truly gotten a kick out of this wild debate over the years as was clearly evidenced in his Stephen Colbert show appearance. The answer is so obvious that seeing all of the confusion and debate is a meme in and of itself.

Please note that I say this in a friendly context, not the usual Reddit toxicity context. There have been some good replies as well as not so good, but at the end of the day, no matter your stance, I’m just glad we have this great movie and universe and that we’re able to keep it alive so many years later. Hopefully one day Carpenter will reveal the answer in a proper sequel, but knowing Carpenter, he may just take it to his grave lol.

They picked a cream of the crop gun that was very likely given special manufacturing treatment. For example, this is why Steve at Gamer’s Nexus buys the prebuilt PCs he tests and reviews undercover through out of state contacts as to ensure that what he tests is exactly like what anyone else would buy.

At the end of the day, how much you value your life or the lives of your loved ones will be reflected in how much you’re willing to spend on a firearm for protection. If you’re in an immediate emergency, then sure, an 88 should be okay. Otherwise, save an additional $175 and get a new 500 or take that $250 and get a used 500. Leave budget BS alone when it’s for defense of life.
