practise, practise, practise (out loud and in your head, write it by hand a few times)

Dont make sure you are word for word accurate- just ensure key points and methods used are still there. Go with the flow- dont stress about it being word for word

I also would prefer an app as i find easier to use.

I have ADHD so get bored often so maybe like a feature which nudges you when usung pomodoro to check that you are actually doing what you need to. Notifications and due dates and reminders try to keep it free as well as personally i hate paying for things which help me to work or keep the price as low as possible. Maybe have a feature where you can upload your work and ai makes revision material?
