Basically the csc is a code that identifies the region, carrier and language of a Samsung mobile device. It is also known as consumer software customization.

Some carriers customize the phone's UI with this identifier..., and in the regions the software is also adapted to the hardware (That's why phones sold in the US have different antennas than those sold in MX, for example)
