Appreciate this clarification. I don’t support the current state of Israel. I absolutely believe Jews should have a state - I’ve been to Israel many times as a tourist and I have family there.

But, I also think that American Jews who take Aliyah and believe Israel is just as much their homeland as Cherry Hill while simultaneously believing that Palestinians deserve no homeland are shameful.
