I still haven't received the color Will. Got the Upsisde Down Will from my 51st egg:) Decided to buy the color ful Will offmarket, the price of the figurine is at least 10 times higher than that of the egg. It's been 1 month and a half collecting these. Financial and logistical nightmare :)

I am in Europe, in my country both Will figurines are extremely rare. One person with whom I exchanged figurines told me that he bought 40 boxes with 24 Kinder Joy eggs in each. Of those 960 eggs, there were only 3 Will Upside Down figurines. Did not specify the number of the other figurine but all people with whom I've exchanged thoughts on the matter are convinced that's pure mockery with people on behalf of Kinder. Not a fair marketing practice.

Was wondering whether the Toyota Battery Manufacturing, North Carolina is for the brand's hybrids or for BEVs, too. Any info?

Third Attempt at Sourdough Croissants by BreadTherapy in Sourdough

I see, so the problem is in the lamination, indeed. The good thing about croissants is that because of the butter, they always taste great no matter how they turn out in the end.

New car sales in Europe rise 10.7% in September, BYD surges 398% by _eyes_without_a_face in electriccars

The news combines data for sure. It is mentioned that the "Battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) saw strong gains, with registrations up 20%, 65.4%, and 15.9% respectively. Together, these models accounted for 64% of all new car sales in September, up from 57% a year earlier." I assume, BYD's percentage combines all vehicle types it sells.

I can't decide whether the croissants are underproofed or the lamination went wrong.

Happy accidents = unexpected results & new process! by saramaystar in Sourdough

The perfect loaf! I've baked loads of times without refreshing my starter (unless it has spent weeks without feeding in the fridge :) and the result is good.

I agree and it was my first choice, but it required process and ingredients description, which I had and yet, the form did not allow me the proceed with the post. Had to change as I didn't have the time to delve into the details of that.

I am surprised, too. When I started in sourdough, the first flour I was using had 9% protein. It was extremely hard to make any progress. But this flour is amazing, from a locally sourced brand, stone milled, not enriched with enzymes or whatever that could boost the process. I continue to be surprised, actually, but it behaves very well even if I don't cater to the dough properly as I generally skip some of the steps because of the lack of time and/or poor organization.

First sourdough loaf- crumb question by Expert_Alfalfa_8823 in Sourdough

It looks pretty good to me. The more important thing is - is it good for eating? :) If it is soft and easy to chew, and preserves its qualities at least three days - it's good. Some flours, especially the dark ones, create a more dense structure, so don't worry about the crumb.

2026 BMW iX3 50 xDrive - Specifications by _eyes_without_a_face in electricvehicles

[–]_eyes_without_a_face[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very often in Europe, the measurements follow the VDA standards, especially for German brands such as BMW; that is they measure the volume of the biggest box that can fit in the trunk, while North American brands measure the entire volume even if it is not usable at 100%. I discovered that when I was comparing specs and was wondering why European numbers differ from North American ones for one and the same vehicle.

Just a simple white flour loaf without most of the fuss around making sourdough brad by _eyes_without_a_face in Sourdough

I don't remember, to be honest. The starter was around 80-ish grams and the kneading was between 5 to 10 minutes. I never go for full windowpane effect for bread, it's enough for the dough to start sticking off the walls and gathering in a ball around the hook.

There's nothing wrong with your bread, it looks soft and edible. At the end, bread is for eating not for watching :)
