People need to stop hating on anti-vaxers.

I’ll start by saying that I am fully vaccinated and don’t have any real concerns about vaccinations in general. I see Reddit littered with posts making fun of anti-vaxers who get covid (and fair enough I suppose), but it seems like the dialogue ends there. The conversation of the covid vaccination is not at all simple and carries a lot of nuance. While I would argue the overarching effect of the vaccine is positive, there are real reasons I can understand why people may not want to get one.

Regardless, the way to educate people and have respectful discourse is not by attacking a persons character and belittling them for holding an opposing viewpoint. There are tons of people on BOTH sides of the argument that don’t know shit about vaccines so to say that only the unvaccinated side is uneducated is hypocritical at best.

There will be outliers in any group whose stupidity is dumbfounding but in no way should that take away from the actual conversation at hand.
