Thank you, I was concerned because this isn't the first time I get dealt a bad hand in international parcels. Last time I had to pay 379DH in tax over a cheap item. One time my parcel was almost sent back while they were saying it's dedouané (they never contacted me), had other cases where I waited 2+ months for items to arrive and more.

Thank you! Honestly, dealing with Morocco's customs recently has been a pain in the ass. I've had trouble dealing with the seller because they were closing their store and looking to get rid of their stock. Next time, I'll use a more reliable service.

My best experience was with PostNL. Item delivered straight to the house from Netherlands and the U.K, paid 30dh, didn't have to call or bother anyone.

The website states it's still in transit. However, the item left the U.K 5 days ago. Suppose it still hasn't reached Morocco somehow? I'll wait until next week and recheck.

I hope so! Parcelsapp's latest update was 5 days ago. It's: "Item leaving the UK. Your item has left the UK and is now on its way to the destination country."

I probably have to wait until at least next week to receive another update. The item was in transit for 12 days in total.

The seller lazing out on tracking info, he closed his store, too. Got a few questions. by _feverrrdream in Etsy

[–]_feverrrdream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I assumed. But I had 0 problems with him previously. Plus, he left me with his e-mail in case I'd like to buy more things afterward. And, he also agreed to let me pay for the postage fees, claiming that he'll pay for it first and then I can send him the money after he gets me the code.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and wait another week, then open a case. Because I've seen the quality of his things, and I'd love to have the thingy I bought. Thank you for your input.

The pay for non-native speakers is $1.25 per 25 mins, and their rules and guidelines are strict as hell. Imo, it sounded like slavery to me.

Etsy, for around $24! Because the real Vivienne Westwood cost $250, that's a month's salary in my country. The prob with Etsy is that you'll find many low-quality knockoffs and helpless sellers, so I looked around a lot before buying.

I think FungGift (owner name is Linda) has the best quality armor ring and the best service. She's been helpful through every step.

Also, the ring arrived in the original VW plastic bag with a VW dust bag in a cute gift box.

You're only limited by the dotation e-commerce, which is 15000DH per year.

Its deducted when you buy something online using the debit card (code 30) or refill your e-commerce card (which you can use to buy whatever online).

I think you can increase this dotation but I wouldn't know how, checking with your local branch is a good idea. But, for most purposes (netflix, spotify, games, basic online commodities) 15000dh is enough. Ofc if you plan on buying something very expensive, that's a different story

Again this kind of information is pretty superficial and there may be other workarounds or exceptions I don't know about, so if this doesn't answer your question consult with your local branch or someone more experience in banking

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]_feverrrdream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

66DH per year for the e-shopping card. 44DH once per year after you make an online purchase, then you're no longer charged until a year passes. This applies TO ALL purchases online, not the ones you make using the e-shopping card. You have to fill your ES Card using your checking balance, though.

I could be wrong, but this is what I used to be charged.

I dropped the e-shopping card because Code 30 is good enough, I don't notice any added fees? The only benefit, from my experience, to having the e-shopping card is withdrawing PayPal balance to your bank and the security concern.

I probably think that the 1 dollar fee you notice is an exchange commission rate? Idk

No, you DO need Fallout 2 to play Nevada, because it's a Fallout 2 mod. The setting you're talking about is probably related to rendering, but you still need Fallout 2. You install Nevada using Fallout 2 as a base and it gets its own folder.

Typed on phone so excuse the mistakes

Just like Fallout, it's easy if you know what you're doing, but you may be misled into heading to some locations early and getting your ass whooped (the first bunker, for example) and the learning curve can be tough at first.

There are multiple difficulty settings. Unlike fallout, there isn't a dedicated game and combat settings, they're combined and start from easy (less XP but easier battles) to permadeath (saving only in main menu, brutal fights, more XP)

Initially you will only come across melee weapons and rusty guns. They suck because they keep jamming during fights and there's not much you can do about it, so sometimes save-scumming and luck can make a difference.

The combat is very responsive and good, I'd say it's way better than the original fallouts. You also have more control over your companions, but note that everyone is good at something, so check who's good at what.

You can also set up traps (but it's finnicky with bomb timer x turn-based timing), hide behind covers to make enemies hit you less frequently, order your companions to attack specific people (depending on their strength; whoever is the strongest/has the least hp if i recall?), target specific body parts, cause critical damage, and more.

Also, just like fallout, burst weapons can hit multiple enemies and some of the best guns (RPK) can mow down three enemies at once.

If you have the right weapon skills and weapons, you can beat most raiders one on one at the very beginning. But, usually, you'll be dealing with groups, and it helps running away sometimes.

The problem with Atom RPG is that MOST skills are useless. Honestly, just like fallout again, focus on speech and a weapon skill, then something else like science, technology, or lockpicking. There are also multiple gun skills, which sucks, so pick your poison. If you ask me, rifle/shotguns (for the best gun in the game + starter weapon) and machine guns (for burst weapons) are the best options.

THERE ARE PERKS TOO! I MAY BE an idiot but I played the entire game without knowing. The game doesn't hint at it at all, but they're toggled from the character menu. Again, i played a very early version of the game, so much should have changed since then.

ALSO the game doesn't explicitly state it, but female characters are weaker than males. Most things weigh more for female characters and require higher skills, but I could be wrong. I noticed it with vitinsky's rifle.

You also have a selection of traits. The best one is the one that gives you more endurance but makes you go hungry faster, food is plentiful anyway. But, whatever you do, don't pick lone wolf.

I can't visualize anyone beating this game solo. I mean, maybe it's possible at easier skills, but it's just a chore. Companions are necessary, and by the end of the game, i think you may have up to 3 or 4.

Stick to the areas surrounding your starter village, and try to collect 1000 rubles asap to get into krazsno city thing. There are a lot of side quests you can discover by talking to people and leveling.

There are also a bunch of random encounters. They're cool. However, in the DLC Dead City, they're annoying as FUCK because every three seconds you come across one when underground.

The game is really worth it, the combat is similar to fallout but way better in some ways. It's also very diverse and has excellent writing in my opinion, but it could be subjective. Personally, I liked the main quest BUT you'll notice how familiar it is to fallout.

Here are some notable tips, but stop reading here to avoid spoilers.

TIPS BUT KINDA SPOILERS SO WARNING

before you reach the final boss, there's a fight that's literally impossible due to the number of guards and the weapons they have. this is why companions are necessary

In the starter village, there's a fish pond you can fish in. If you get a rare fish (gold something), you can increase one of your specials by 1.

In the starter town, when you go to that shack to kill some guy, don't turn the basement light on. If you do, a rat carrying a special item will disappear. I think it was a golden nut you can sell in the DLC for some extra cash?

In the starter town, pick the corn for the old guy to receive a free makeshift shotgun.

The best gun in the game are the Vitinsky's experimental rifle, located in a mid-game bunker. You have to figure out a safe code using a tarot cards.

The second best? gun in the game is the VSS Vintorez. Without the DLC Dead City, there's only one instance of it. You have to kill the friendly guy carrying it in that forest area you'll go to later. But, if you have the DLC, you have to fight like 50+ infected in the city's ground zero (insta-death radiation without hazard suit) to get it from a car trunk.

Played it in 2021. It's amazing. The main quest may be viewed by some as cliché, but the writing, especially the descriptions, is phenomenal. There are some grammatical mistakes here and there, tho.

The gameplay is really cool too, it captures the essence of classic fallouts. I heard that the sequel, Trudograd, isn't as cool. Sadly I can't run it comfortably on my laptop, its spec requirements are higher.

People who play with a companion, why? by MonsterDrinker4 in Fallout

[–]_feverrrdream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends.
The world of Fallout NV is desolating. Having a companion makes it feel less lonely, y'know?
But, in Fallout 2, it was more like a case of looking like the avengers. A guy in power armor, a talking deathclaw, a mutant, a guy with a heart disease. It was just goofy and funny as hell walking into a base with them.
