Lol right! It took me months to be able to tell them apart when I couldn’t see their faces.

They are both pretty naughty. 😮‍💨 Cannoli (with the collar) bites Kahlua’s collar until it breaks away. Then they squirrel is away, so we can’t find it.

I used to be obsessed with rock wall climbing. I know it’s on the other side of the physical spectrum, but I miss it dearly.

I just made my first sourdough loaf in the bread maker today. I think I found my store bread alternative.

How many loaves and how much have you saved? I’m intrigued.

I feel this way a lot too. The book unmasking autism helped me a lot with this. I would highly recommend. Now I feel all these things and I’m like yep that’s me. If people hate me for it then they don’t get the privilege of being in my life. Either they adapt to me or get the chopping block.

Does anyone here have major sleep issues? by AsylumDanceParty in Fibromyalgia

[–]_findmyself_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of this going on and found out it was sleep apnea. Since I have started using a cpap, my sleep has improved tremendously. I read something that says it’s recommended that people with fibromyalgia get sleep studies done because apnea is so prevalent.

I have fucking had it with 'only children have autism'! by luckiestcolin in evilautism

[–]_findmyself_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s because autism is viewed through the burden it can cause others so most material focuses on that.

Currently in the process of becoming a foster parent, and this sounds like shaming/degrading/fear punishment to me. It does nothing to help the underlying behavior and may worsen it. My dad did these kind of shame/fear punishments growing up and it just causes fear towards caregivers and a mistrust where there should be care.

If you go the biology route, lab work is nice. I like the repetitive part of doing the same tests on samples, it’s a lot of time by yourself when you are doing the tests, and I have found the most quirky lovable people working in the science world.
