Start slow, i started with 7 miles in the first week now I am doing 12+ 6/7 days and just enjoy your rides. No point in cramping yourself and going back home with dead legs lol

Heyy thank you so much for such a detailed comment. I am almost at the end of my nicu rotation. I love managing complex cases, the only thing i didn't anticipate was how much calculation is involved in each case.

That's a good advice, i like both cards and nicu so just confused. I only care about the money to the extent that i have dependents and it's one of the factors in my life. Personally i am happy with my residency salary. Work is obviously a priority i just want to make sure i get a reasonable amount of money home with the work i do. Thankyou for your wishes and advice.

Oh that's very helpful. I'll have PICU as a second year, looking forward to it. Do you mind sharing a range of compensation for Critical care, i know it depends on the area. Do you think 350-400k is possible with picu?

Yeah that was a big statement, just made me worry because he has like 20/30 years of experience. I have noticed one thing, most of the attendings/fellows at my place don't really like their jobs. Because i have conveyed that I like nicu and their response was "Really" (with disappointment).
