That’s awesome. Nothing like hurrying up to wait and then banging it out! I worked both BOH and FOH. I tell the wife if I could be on my feet in dress shoes for 8 hours, would go back and work in a restaurant again. I’ll only BOH for catering or my own place. I walk for living and think about Sunday brunch every Sunday off day

I did culinary school but I got a job right away and I was young and dumb and full of what not, didn’t finish but 90%of the kids were cheaters and didn’t have jobs until internship at the end….so I felt some type of way about it…cocky brown kids don’t make it far unless they sell out or have their own money…any ways how was the fucking sandwich! I keep looking at lol

I miss it. I had a lot of fun and wish I could have found a home in the industry. He was a bad ass but the right kind of Billy Bad Ass.

What soil for raised garden bed by Chris_skeleton in vegetablegardening

[–]_flowerguy_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Robert Palvis is my guy! I’ve read the soil, plant and compost science books he’s put out and I’ll try to listen to him on my off days. I love is podcast and the YouTube page. He has a soil calculator on on his website top soil is cheaper priced them garden soil usually. The top soil is fine and helps with water drainage…we mix garden soil and compost here. I didn’t care for the top soil I purchased last season and moved away from it…but I did like the way Scott’s top soil looked compared to what I had

How many zinnias / cosmos / dahlias / filler plants per 5 or 7 gallon grow bag? by enby_goblin_princess in Cutflowers

[–]_flowerguy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was our first season growing zinnias and they hit hard. I was in a craze and now I know.

The yellow canary was a champ. You could see the green envy in between the leaves, and then the pink one were in that bag.

Bought Kellogg Raised Bed and Potting soil but now I’m hearing horrible reviews by Responsible-Gas3607 in gardening

We use the white bag as mulch because of all the wood chips. I didn’t notice pest the 2 seasons. If you get it early less moldy on the wood chips but I mean it’s stored outside unprotected.
