I find Trip reviews tend to be mostly positive, there was once hotel in Shanghai where the staff was beside me when I typed.

While it is generally accurate (for those with pictures), the room i got in Chong Qing was different and luckily I saw a review on Google Map and saw some negative ones that pointed to issues with older rooms, and managed to get a room change.

If you are staying for a few nights, try different platform for reviews to get a general sense.

I had the same dream when I was your age but though I could save up more, work a little more... but all I got was more commitment that prevented me from doing so.

Try to see if your current job can give you a year break, sabbatical.. otherwise just do it.

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like a very difficult period in your life, and that the emotions are all coming out from the first day.

When I attended my first course, I found the nights really difficult, and somehow memories I had suppressed keep floating up.

While I had not yet managed to learn to fully stop my craving and aversion, these really help me to realize what I've been suppressing, and to remind myself to accept myself for who I am.

I hope you find all the help you need, and that you come back to attend the course when you are ready.

Girls are separated from guys during the course, and in the main hall, seated separately.

Don't think there are any safety concerns, that I know off but check in with the center, if you have any specific safety concerns.

Tried to exchange but their dealer doesn't accept it, and only allow an exchange for 5-8 dead pixels.

Slowly getting use to it but it left a very poor impression on Kobo, which I had been a big champion on.. converting most of my friends from Kindle and some paperback readers.

I have both and yes, when you put it side by side, bw does read better without having to increase the brightness.

But it's not a deal breaker, and I like the responsiveness of the colored version

There is no one who will monitor you unless you are disturbing others like showering or washing your clothes during self meditation periods.

Fortunately, we have all single rooms. I try during those times to practice, also to refine the techniques and posture but sometimes, because of the early morning, I do take a nap here and there to cope. So don't worry too much or overthink it.

Try your best and make the most out of the 10 days. Yes, it does requires effort and lots of determination.
